«Our family enjoyed our visit to the Pamlico River while attending ECU graduation activities. There was plenty of room for 9 adults to spread out. The house was incredibly clean too. If any questions come up the owner was quick to respond and hospitable. I would absolutely recommend considering friends and family to stay at this beautiful house on the water.»

«We enjoyed this cottage so much! It was clean, had just the right amount of space, and had a huge backyard for our dog to play in. The owner was also very helpful and answered any questions we had. If you ever need a place to stay in Washington, or are going to an ECU game and don’t mind the short drive, this is the place to stay!! »

«Great Rental! Accurate description with great sunset views and easy water access. Beds and furniture were comfortable, which isn't always the case!! Really nice new dock with kayak access. Comments note that the road into the property is dirt which was a check in the plus column for this trip. The road is well maintained even if not paved. Hope to return again!»

«The price fit the gated community but after entering the rental it was apparent it lacked in cleanliness. There were also cob webs and a ton of spiders throughout. The main bedroom bed linens were over used and stained. We were glad we brought our own blanket. The bed was uncomfortable and sunken, leaving us both sore in the morning. We didn’t rent the place to spend much time inside, but it ended up raining one night and the TV was too small to even watch. We stayed in another rental at sugar ...

«This was my nephews wedding weekend in New Bern, a lovely weekend it was. My son, his fiancée, my sister, brother-in-law and myself stayed here. Everything was in working order and neat. What was perfect was the large front and back porches, the quiet serene setting and the friendly neighbors. I have a high stress job and this was exactly what I needed to decompress. I hope to come back soon!»

«This home was perfect. From the host description, the decor, the dock, and the well stocked kitchen. We were comfortable as we enjoyed the sunrise, spent time on our boat docked on property, and even a nice fire to round out the evening. A perfect place for the 7 of us. We may return. »
