«The house was in a perfect location as you felt that you were on the lake but still very close to restaurants and grocery stores. The downside was the kitchen had basic utensils and the grill needed to be cleaned before use. We battled ants in one bathroom the entire trip. If you are looking for a fishing get-away, this would be a great place as there was plenty of refrigeration space for your catches and a nice screened-in porch to enjoy.»

«Great bungalow style lakefront cottage for our family reunion at the nearby Lions Club Park/Paviliion. Very handy to walk, drive, or boat to meals, bars, etc. Host was quick to communicate. «This place is amazing. We gathered a variety of people for my daughter’s wedding. This home has so many spaces for intimate conversations as well as large group gatherings. The great room was a fabulous place for playing cards or board games, watch tv, or just chat with lots of space. The basement area movie space was a nice spot to cool down, catch a film, or chat. «The house, despite its 1900 origin, is like new. Located only a block from UWEC, it was surprisingly quiet. Access to downtown or the mall is very easy. Well equipped kitchen and plenty of storage. Our only complaint was the heating. It worked, but was pretty noisy and had a hard time maintaining a consistent temperature. Still, we were very pleased with the rental and would recommend it for a family.»

«Great house. Very small town. I can remember it, the house, from my trips as a child to Osseo. Lots of charm, very close to “downtown” Osseo. Would gladly stay again when visiting. Got a bit warm in the house yesterday, was 85 in town. AC keeps bottom floor cool, didn’t do much for upstairs, maybe some box fans onsite that can be used to blow cool air in at night, would be helpful. Thanks for a great stay.»

«This is a beautiful home! It is furnished with everything you need (and more!) to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. We were the first guests of the season and loved every minute. We saw amazing sunsets from the dock, enjoyed morning coffee with breathtaking lake views, and caught plenty of pan fish off the dock and from our boat! We could just feel the stress floating away during our stay. We can't wait to return to this location again next year for our anniversary trip!»

«This is a beautiful older home in a quiet well kept neighborhood that backs up to a lovely park. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would need to “eat-in”. There is a wonderful attached, private back porch area that is screened in. A definite plus! My only wish would have been that fans would have been provided in the bedroom areas as it did become stuffy sleeping upstairs at night. Overall, a wonderful experience!»
