Welcome to Taonga, a premium holiday home nestled on the edge of Oneroa. With three bedrooms and 1.5 luxury bathrooms this property is perfect for three couples of a family group. Its elevated position offers a superb vantage point with panoramic views over Oneroa Beach and Blackpool Beach which are just a few minutes walk away.

The interior is a seamless blend of modern luxury and coastal charm, complete with beautiful artwork, bespoke furniture and luxury fixtures and fittings.

Upstairs the open-plan living area is welcoming and spacious, perfect for relaxation and socialising. The modern kitchen is equipped with high quality appliances and all the cooking implements that you might need, allowing you to prepare gourmet meals with ease.

The dining area, bathed in natural light, provides a picturesque backdrop for memorable meals shared with loved ones. Upstairs you will also find a washroom with toilet and sink and outside on the deck a hot water shower is available to rinse off after returning from the beach.

Downstairs are the bedrooms and family bathroom, which stay at very comfortable temperatures all year round with air-conditioners for the bedrooms and underfloor heating in the bathroom. The master bedroom has a king sized be and the other two bedrooms have queen sized beds, complete with luxury pillow top mattresses and finished with Egyptian cotton linens.

With open decks on the upper level and covered decks on the lower level there is plenty of space to relax and unwind. Whether you choose to soak up the sun's warmth on a lounger, or rest in the shade with a good book, these outdoor spaces are perfect for relaxation.

Outside there is a gas BBQ and large outdoor dining table. The house has sliding glass doors that open up the side of the building, giving a great indoor/outdoor flow. The views from the upper deck are absolutely stunning.

For your convenience, Taonga is also equipped with air-conditioning on both levels, ensuring a comfortable climate year-round. During cooler evenings the modern wood burner keeps the house toasty warm.

Located just minutes from fabulous beaches, bars, restaurants and world-class winery, Taonga offers a superb base for a family holiday, or weekend get together with old friends.

From its stunning location on the edge of Oneroa to its meticulously designed interior and thoughtful amenities, this premium holiday home promises to make many happy holiday memories.

Off-street parking available for two vehicles. Please note that this property is on a steep section and access requires the use of a short flight of stairs. The property is on two stories so is not recommended for those with mobility issues.

The house had great views. It was exactly how it is presented online. It was a quick drive to town which was really convenient.

Great Stay

Lovely setting and comfortable beds! Kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the views from every room and from the deck. Good location on the island. I loved the outdoor shower!If mobility is an issue, this is not the house for you as there are many stairs. The only two things that our party didn't care for was the overwhelming Raid/pesticide smell coming from the many plug-ins in the house. We had to open all the windows immediately as the smell was overwhelming. The indoor shower was a little tricky as it is not closed off from the room (with a door or lip on the floor) and the floor doesn't seem slopped enough for the water to drain properly, so the water pooled a great deal. It required using a long squeegee tool to push the water to the drain which they leave for that purpose. After our first showers, we ended up just using the outdoor shower which was great.

Breathtaking views in a luxury home

This place was fantastic, stunningly, beautiful, comfortable, with modern amenities. The only thing missing was a hot tub! Otherwise, our only complaints were that the water pressure was very fickle in the showers, as was the hot water in the shower. Also, you can technically walk into town, but it would be a tough walk, especially if you have small children or strollers. Otherwise, we had a great day and would definitely book it again!

Just the ticket

Fabulous property. Amazing, panoramic views. Really comfortable living area and bedrooms downstairs, which keeps them cool. The beds were extremely comfortable and it's the best shower I've ever had. Easy access to Oneroa shops and beaches. The perfect spot. We will return and can definitely recommend to others.
