Brigantine Cottage - Experience both an Ocean AND Bay Family Vacation this year

The Brigantine Cottage offers a special enhancement for its Guests who choose to vacation at the New Jersey Shore. In addition to enjoying Brigantine's clean beaches and waters, Guests have exclusive access to the Cottage's eighty foot private dock overlooking the protected Absecon Wildlife Preserve. This provides Guests with both an Ocean and a Bay experience to enjoy more activities while on vacation. Before the beach activities, begin the day on the dock with a morning cup of coffee to watch the Sunrise. An end to the day will often also be on the dock sipping a cold drink at Sunset sitting on a comfortable, colorful Adirondack chair. By the way, Stargazing on a clear night is beautiful too! The dock is located on quiet Steelmans Bay which has minimal boat traffic. Hanging out during the day on the dock is great too - kids search for shells and crabs at low tide, go fishing and swimming, or just enjoy observing marine life and nature up close. Going to the beach is fun too! A short two and a half block walk to the top of the street offers clean, sandy beaches to play volleyball, have a game of catch, build castles or just relax! The clean beach water and rolling waves offer excellent swimming, body surfing or boogie boarding, and of course there is shoreline fishing. Stroll on the Sea Wall to enjoy both the ocean views and feel the sea breezes at any time. Want to do things off the dock or away from the beach? The Brigantine Cottage is also located close to non-water based activities such as The Links, an 18 hole public golf club, the lookout tower at the Absecon wildlife preserve where you can look for and track dolphins and birds, There are tennis and pickleball courts, or visit the skateboard park and mini-golf. The Marine Stranding Center always has interesting things to see and hear about rescued mammals and turtles. For those who want to have a change of tempo, Atlantic City is just minutes away. It offers nightlife and entertainment that include concerts and shows, themed restaurants and of course gaming. There are also new attractions such as Top Golf and an indoor water park for a rainy day, plus the famous Boardwalk where you can rent bikes for an early morning ride or just stroll.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The home is very comfortable and well stocked and communication with the owner is excellent. We had no worries. Can't say enough about the amazing dock and relaxing chairs!

Dock made the trip

The property was super clean and cozy. For a group of 8 it was a bit cramped though. We loved the dock, having only 1 t.v., and being only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The garage was packed full of beach gear and crab traps for the dock that provided a bountiful harvest. Everything you needed in the kitchen too.

Wonderful!

We had a great vacation at this lovely property. It was very well kept and comfortable with everything you need and very clean! Such great communication with the owner. The dock was amazing and added to many happy memories!

Perfect spot for relaxation

Wow. We are just back from a great week on Steelman's Bay in Brigantine. Not only was this cottage well-appointed with everything we could possible need (including bug spray!) but the location is a delight. We went to the beach each day, which was close enough to walk to easily. The beach was not huge, but it also was not overcrowded, which is something that can be unpleasant at other resorts. The water temperature was just right and the waves were good for my husband to go body surfing. By the way, people are so friendly here! When we put our things too close to the water and the tides overtook our chairs, we came out of the water to find that a nice man had relocated all of our things. Then he apologized because the corner of one towel got wet! After our time at the beach, I would always go for a swim in the bay, which is as peaceful and quiet as the beach is exhilarating and fun. One member of our party had her morning coffee on the dock while she attended her AA meetings remotely! The cottage is peaceful and nicely decorated. The towels are luxurious, the bathrooms supplied with the best personal care products, and the beds comfortable. We travelled with my elderly mother, and while the house is not easy for a person on a walker, our host went out of her way to provide a shower chair and safety seat for the commode--so kind! She was quick to answer every question we had. Really, who could ask for anything more?? We'd go back tomorrow, if we could.

Wonderful Cottage

My family and I loved this beautiful cottage. All of the included amenities allowed us to focus on going to the beach and enjoying Brigantine. The dock was a big hit with our family. They swam, fished and we watched the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. Thank you for a perfect vacation!!

Beautiful home/location!

Totally loved our stay here! Wonderful, beautiful home, has everything that you could possibly need! Loved the dock! Had coffee/cocktails out there everyday! My family had such a great relaxing week here! Didn't want to leave!

Great week!

We had a wonderful time! Would love to rent again next year. The host was quick to respond to questions and the house had everything we needed. The dock made each night enjoyable and it was a quick walk to the beach. The beds were very comfortable. It was a great experience for my family.

Wonderful well-stocked house in lovely setting

The house was lovely and very well-stocked. We enjoyed all the beach equipment, games, grill, and kitchen equipment. Having four bedrooms with queen size beds is a rare find and made it a good place to stay with friends. The beach is a short walk and the dock is a great spot to have a cup of coffee or glass of wine. Brigantine is quiet but has a good grocery store and most other things you'd need. Atlantic City is a short drive for more dining options or walking on the boardwalk.
