When I arrived at the hotel on Thursday, it took the receptionist about 15 minutes just to find me a room. During that time, he decided on his own to assign me a single-bed room, even though I was not traveling alone. Once a room was finally assigned, I was given the key and room number—only to arrive and find that the beds were not made.
I went back to the front desk with pictures, and the receptionist changed my room. Unfortunately, the second room was also dirty. After two failed attempts, I was finally given a room that was actually ready. Overall, the condition of the rooms at this particular Days Inn reminded me more of a Red Roof Inn than a hotel of this brand.
By day three of my stay, my TV stopped working around 1:26 PM. It took until approximately 6:45 PM—nearly six hours—for someone to come and turn it back on. Something that should have been a simple fix took an unreasonable amount of time.
On day four, the remote stopped working altogether, and by that point my trip was completely ruined. The hotel advertises “breakfast,” but it consists only of prepackaged muffins and juice from a machine, which was very disappointing.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
