Godt og sentralt
Meget bra plassert, sentralt. Lite støy til tross for trafikk utenfor. Gode senger. Stort fokus på smittevern, bl a ved frokosten. God og variert frokost, litt trangt der vi forsynte oss. Flott takterrasse med bar og utsikt til Akropolis. Anbefales!

Sentralt og rent/hyggelig hotell
Bodde på dobbeltrom pluss en seng.(3pax) Hard madrass på ekstrasengen, men fikk ny, bedre madrass til natt nr 2. Under frokosten gikk en av de ansatte rundt ved bordene og spurte om alt var greit med oppholdet og om vi trengte hjelp til noe. Frokosten var god og variert. Deilig terrasse og bar på taket med super utsikt til Akropolis, med både liggestoler og deilige stoler/sofaer. Veldig sentralt, tok ca 15min å spasere til Akropolis. Og ca 10min til buss/metro/trikk. Og hotellet ligger midt mellom Plaka og Monastriaki med masse restauranter/koselige gater/shopping/turistbutikker

Akropolis-utsikt!
Jeg fikk ett fint rom, med en nydelig utsikt til Akropolis!! Kjempe koselig personale og ledig rent! De har en takterrasse, men super utsikt!! Hotellet ligger flott til - kort vei til alt! Anbefaler virkelig dette hotellet!

Good hotel in the heart of ancient Athens
The best thing about Plaka Hotel is the location which is a short walk from Monastiraki metro, and the proximity to what you want to see in a first visit to Athens. There are restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops all around, and of course you are only minutes away from the streets of Plaka and the Akropolis. The reception was welcoming. My room was a bit on the small side, but with a direct view to the Akropolis I got what I came for. Breakfast has a good selection and of course the rooftop bar is a great place for drinks before dinner. I will consider this hotel on my next visit to Athens.

Hotel location was outstanding. Very close to main attractions, restaurants and entertainment. Most important, personnel was very helpful and EVA is the reason why this three starts hotel is so highly rated. She will come to you every morning to address your questions and concerns and knew most people by name. I will highly recommend this hotel.

Area is one of the best in Athens, close to all the landmarks and lots of places to eat and shopping, but it can get very busy and possibly hard to get a cab around on busy days! The roof top gardens was phenomenal, amazing view of the Acropolis! Staff was no the most helpful, specially if u arrive earlier and need to storage your luggages til your check in time! The mini fridge in the room didn't work at all and they never fixed it, but since we stayed just for one night we didn't care much! I'd recommend this place for a short stay, mostly cause the location and price!

Very convenient. Close to Acropolis. Right in the center of Plaka, a must see tourist area. Lots of restaurants. The view of Acropolis from the roof top bar is fantastic. Staff very helpful.

The main advantages of the Hotel Plaka are its very central location and ease of transport to and from the airport. There are plenty of traditional tourist type Greek tavernas in the area, but they are mostly all very similar. The hotel is also very clean and the staff are excellent. The roof top restaurant and bar have an amazing outlook, but we didn’t use the restaurant as the menu choice we thought was very poor. The included breakfast was excellent. The main disadvantage of the hotel was the constant noise from traffic and people in the street below at night. The positives however, vastly outweighed the negatives and my wife and I would stay here again, as it was great value for money.

The hotel was in a perfect spot for walking, dining and shopping. We walked to the Acropolis from there. The breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful. The rooftop deck was amazing during the day and especially at night with the view of the Acropolis lit up. Would highly recommend.

The Plaka Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to the metro, shopping, dinning, sights, and night life. Staff were pleasant and helpful. As for our room, it was very small and noise carried from our neighbors room. This is a boutique (small hotel) with around 75 rooms and is located in a safe area.

The location is perfect; walk to everything. The staff was extremely helpful, especially Ava. We got excellent advice re touring options. Rick Steves provided his expected great advice for eating and walking tours.

We stayed for 2 nights and it was an awesome location. We walked all over and were within walking distance to acropolis. Lots of shops and restaurants all around and tons of shopping. The place was clean and the beds were super comfortable. Happy with this stay!

Excellent location. Walking distance to all the popular sights. No need for a car if you stay here. Great breakfast. Very nice staff. Rooftop has amazing view of Parthenon. The only complaint is that the glass wall in bathtub does not stop the shower water from getting everywhere. But other than that it’s amazing!!

What a great location! Our first time in Athens (won't be the last) so we wanted somewhere with good transport connections & not too far from the Acropolis. The Plaka Hotel was everything we hoped for, stunning views of the Acropolis from your window, as well as from the rooftop bar. The staff were great, very attentive and so helpful. The rooms were a good size with a fridge to keep our chocolate bars & baklava cool. Plaka is a vibrant area, with plenty of things within easy walking distance. The bars & restaurants cater for all tastes, so what's not to like! Would love to go back, but experiencing Athens in the winter made the climb up to the Acropolis easier than in the height of summer.

Fantastic Location
Our bedroom on the 6th floor had an amazing view of the Acropolis (same as pictured from the rooftop bar, just one floor above our room)! We had a drink in the bar every evening, admiring the views in all directions. We also ate there one night, good & reasonably priced food. The staff were welcoming & friendly, in particular Eva, who came to chat to us every morning at breakfast.

Another Great Stay
Returned after 5 years, this time with friends. The staff and service was super and I would not stay anywhere else if I were to return again. Loved the roof top bar, the view of the acropolis is not to be missed.
