Great location in the heart of Plaka, steps away from the Akropolis. We enjoyed our balcony overlooking a square, the only small inconvienience was that it was a bit noisy Saturday night. Safe neighbourhood. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Dårlig brannsikkerhet og bestillingssikkerhet.
1. Jeg bestilte og fikk bekreftet et superior dobbeltrom med Hill View. Men slik gikk det ikke. Og jeg fikk ingen begrunnelse for hvorfor ikke. Jeg fikk dermed et annet rom uten nevnte kriterier uten avslag i prisen. Dagen etter fikk jeg anvist et annet rom, der Hill View kunne oppnås ved å henge ut vinduet. 2. Hotellet har ikke røkdetektorer. 3. Hotellet har ikke sprinkleranlegg, men små håndholdte brannslukningsapparater. 4. Trappene er i tre. og vil dermed kunne brenne opp før de håndholdte kommer i bruk. 5. Gratis WI-fi virket i tre dager. Da jeg spurte om grunnen, sa de at de var vanlig rutine og at jeg kunne få en ny kose etter dette. Hvorfor ikke informere om dette ved ankomst?

Your remark about the room as we have discussed was our mistake and we really apologize for the inconvenience caused. We offered you free diner and if you wanted discount in the payment but you as a real gentlement which i personaly respect did not want. Many thanks for being our guest . We hope to have more opportunities in future to welcome you back and upgrade you for free to our deluxe suites that have direct view from the balcony to Acropolis hill . Hotel is in a 200-year-old formerly private residence. Has many original features, which give it a unique character missing from more conventional accommodations. This can sometimes pose a problem, particularly the lack of an elevator for older clientele. Our room on the 3rd floor facing the park and restaurants required walking up 54 steps. The hotel is in a pedestrian zone in Plaka. On the weekend, there is a lively scene outside well past midnight, so be prepared. It is not quiet. The hotel staff were very helpful with our bags and other needs. The housekeeping was dependable. The bathroom was small, but updated. Overall, quirky but enjoyable.

the hotel is so quaint the young man who ran the hotel was helpful and welcoming. The room was cozy but enough room and very clean. You can walk to everything great food and shopping. I could have stayed for my whole time but I did have a cruise to go to.

Great place to stay in ancient Athens. Within walking distance of entrance to Acropolis. Wonderful breakfasts, but no elevator if can’t climb stairs.

In the heart of the Platka, this hotel is charming and the 3rd floor suite we had was beautiful. The balcony overlooked not only the bustling street below but several archaeological sites. One side note for travelers with large luggage or difficulty with stairs, we were on the 3rd floor, there is not an elevator and the flight or flights of stairs are very narrow and challenging.

Wonderful property run by a wonderful team. The location truly is fantastic. You are close to everything in the heart of Athens, walking to all the major sights is very easy. The building and rooms are beautiful and well kept, the bed was very comfortable as well! The breakfast is at a little cafe in the same square and was very tasty. The only downside is the floors are all wood, so you can hear a lot of noise from other patrons. I used earplugs and slept just perfect!

Location was excellent. Staff amazing. Very clean and a very comfortable bed. The prime location made it easy to get around Athens and visit all the sites. Bottled Water in our fridge every day- awesome!! The coffee in the communal mini kitchen was very much appreciated. Would stay again!!!

Very nice staff, good location, good size room, nice view of Acropolis. Only issue was a bit of noise, was woken in the middle of night a few times by refuge collectors picking up glasses. Staircase and corridors were also quite loud, as were doors shutting.

You have to know that they have a very friendly staff, huge rooms, and great attached patio overlooking Acropolis. Additionally, the area is close to restaurants, shopping, and steps away from the Acropolis

The staff was so friendly. My hotel room was clean and in an excellent location. I was able to walk easily to every place I wanted. I loved the breakfast! I will book here again.

It was very clean and in a great location. Old beautiful building overlooking a lovely square full of nice restaurants and cafes. Everything went well during our 10-day stay, the personnel was kind and professional. Breakfast was also beyond expectation, in a nearby restaurant at the square, very enjoyable. My only suggestion would be to add some decor, it is an authentic building and it would be great to have some vintage decoration to make it warmer. Also, there is no lounging space, but there is a coffee kitchen which has every type of coffee you can imagine. I am very glad we stayed here for my husband's first time in Greece.

I booked this property because it had a good ratings and took chances thinking we may get lucky like many of guests did with their rooms but I am extremely disappointed with room we were given on the ground floor 102/3. Quadruple bedroom. Bathroom is so tiny, doesn’t close easily, makes so much noise, smells, people smoke right outside you cannot open balcony, cracks on the floor everywhere, breakfast was below average, people across restaurant where we breakfast will charge every single item. Pre-fix menu is a joke. Gave 2 stars because it was conveniently located in Plaka area and we can easily walk to restaurants and shopping area which I won’t be staying next time. Such a touristy area. Overrated.

At all, it is not what is expected in the pictures. You would think that you are in the Palace of Versailles, given the astronomical amount paid for a room that is not worth more than 20 dollars. Location is important in the hotel for those who want to stay close to tourist attractions But in exchange for the large amount I paid, $125 per night, I expected to stay in a comfortable hotel with full services and comfortable accommodation. I was deceived by the site and the management of the place, and this is shameful for a frequent traveler who visits more than 20 countries annually

Nice little boutique hotel located in heart of Plaka. Practically anything you wanted to do (drink, dine or shop) was within 10 minutes from the hotel. You can take the X95 from the airport to Syntagma square then walk 10-15 minutes to the hotel.

I am sure this is one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. First, you can see Parthenon Temple from the room (If you book an Acropols view room). Second, the hotel is in front of a small picturasque square, so you can feel like as if you were in a fantastic world. Third, the staff members were reliable and very professional. The room was very clean and well organized with fancy furnitures. I wanted to stay here more days...but fully booked. Overall, it's worth it!!
