Veldig bra hotell og bra service. Hadde barnesete til låns og ordnet transport ved behov. Trekk for kort åpningstid på bassenget og et toalett som fungerte dårlig. Meldte ifra men de fikset det aldri.

Personalet på hotellet var hyggelige og imøtekommende. Store rom, gode senger, hyggelig balkong. Rommende er noe umoderne med slitne møbler og tepper. Renhold av rom var ikke helt bra, badet blant annet var ikke helt rent når vi kom. Fint bassengområde, relativt stort basseng med solstoler og bord og stoler. Servering ved bassenget. God frokost på hotellet

Bra beliggenhet og basseng
Rommet var litt slitent, men stort og greit. Bassengområdet var bedre enn på bildene, med flott basseng, bra barnebasseng og et hyggelig område med nok solsenger. Det er bare en kort gåtur til sentrum av Glyfada, med butikker, restauranter osv., og kort vei til stranda, som er ubetjent. Det var litt mye trafikkstøy når man ville sitte ute på verandaen, men bassengområdet er skjermet.

Rommene ikke tilpasset familie!
Hotellet ligger i gangavstand fra sentrum. Ca 5-10 min til matvarebutikk, og 10-15 min til øvrig sentrum med mange spisesteder og butikker. Fint sentrum med ekslusive merkebutikker og resturanter. Trikken går langs stranden, og inn i sentrum, så trikk anbefales. Den kan også tas inn til sentrum av Athen, som tar ca 45-60 min. Skal man bo på dette hotellet bør man ikke velge familierom i 1 eller 2.etasje, det vil si de rommene med kjøkkenkrok. De er svært slitte, gamle og er ikke fire stjernes standars overhodet. Skal du ligge her bør du velge rom i 3 eller 4.etasje, som er vanlig dobbeltrom med lite "minibar"-kjøleskap. Frokosten er heller ikke noe å skryte av, men det er helt enkelt og greit. Prisene på hotellet er forøvrig ganske høye, og man bør heller velge å spise på restaurant.

Supert familiehotell!
Litt slitne rom, men plass til fem! Romslig bad også. Vi fikk god valuta for pengene her, hyggelig og rent bassengområde/hage og god frokost. Fresh lobby, men slitne rom. Likevel ville vi velge å komme tilbake hit. God service og god beliggenhet, ihvertfall om du har en leiebil eller gjerne tar trikk eller buss som går rett til sentrum like fra hotellet. Strand like ved, et stykke å gå til restauranter/butikker.

Greit hotell i nærheten av Athen
Vi bodde på Oasis i nesten to uker, og fikk ett godt intrykk av personalet som gjorde sitt ytterste for at vi skulle trives der. Det gjorde vi også! Til tross for at rommet vi bodde på og deler av fellesarealet var noe slitt, var alt rent og trivelig, maten var god og været helt topp. Reisetiden inn til Athen sentrum var ca 1 time med den lokale "Tramen", en mellomting mellom en trikk og et lokaltog. Med Taxi tar turen ca 20 -25 minutt. Til flyplassen var det ca 30 minutter med Taxi. Likei nærheten var Glyfada sentrum, som har mange gode resutanter, samt rimeligere spisester som McDonalds, KFC og Pizzahut. Dette er ingen typisk turistplass med masse suvenirer etc, men mer en handleplass for den Athenske overklasse, høyere middelklasse med mange butikker med fokus på merkevarer. Ønsker man å handle suvenirer og rimelige varer, må man ta turen inn til Athen sentrum. Vi trivdes god på hotellet, og tilbrakte mange timer ved svømmebassenget, der det var god kapasitet på solsenger etc. Mat og drikke fikk man også servert hele dagen ved bassenget.

Skittent og nedslitt
Vi hadde en natt på Oasis på vei hjem fra Kykladene. Relativt kort vei fra Pireus, og nærhet til flyplassen gjorde at vi valgte dette hotellet. Ved ankomst kom vi inn i en lys og innbydende resepsjon, hvor en hyggelig og behjelpelig resepsjonist tok i mot oss. Vi var to voksne og to barn (4 og 6 år) i vårt reisefølge, og vi fikk et stort rom med god plass til oss alle. Men rommet var nedslitt, og renholdet var så som så. Vi hadde rom ut mot bassengområdet, men da ble det også en del trafikkstøy var veien. Bassengområdet var ok, og det var mulig å få seg en enkel matbit der.

Hotellet ligger i et fint strøk i Glyfada område. Kort vei til strand (stranden er dekket med stein), og sentrum i Glyfada. Resepsjonen var alltid tilgjengelig, men ikke så veldig villig med opplysninger utenom det som gjaldt hotellet. Gammelt bad, kjøkken, og gamle møbler i leiligheten. Kjøkkenet hadde ikke nødvendige utstyr, og det som var der var bare gamle, og skittene. Leiligheten er OK for et par som ikke bruker kjøkkenet aktivt, men passer veldig dårlig for familie med barn. Frokosten var OK. Internett forbindelsen var veldig bra.

Hotel perfect for my trip; pool excellent. Good environment. Service from the bartenders/vaitors was perfect. Service from the desk was ONLY good when the manager was present. The room was "clean", meaning the beds etc, but the ventilators was clogged with dust, the shower was flooding due to hair in the outlet. Air-condition was not working, but this was under maintanance (they said). But, believe it or not, I will return, but only when I'm without my family as personally this was good vs the cost per night!

Vi hadde en leilighet med kjøkken og hadde gledet oss til å lage mat i leiligheten da vi har 2 små unger og det da ikke alltid frister å ta de med på restaurant hver dag, men det kjøkkenet var så slitt og gammelt at det fristet IKKE å lage mat der i det hele tatt. Det som også var litt kjedelig var at de ansatte på hotellet kunne veldig lite eller ikke noe engelsk og da ble det litt vanskelig å gjøre seg forstått. Vil ikke akkurat kalle hotellet barnevennlig når du må passere to EKSTREMT traffikerte hovedveier for å komme deg til stranda. Det burde det vært opplyst om. Sengene er noe av det hardeste jeg noengang har sovet i. Gulvet begynte å friste på slutten av ferien, da vi våknet og kunne knapt røre oss pga smerter i rygg og skuldre. Nå er ikke vi mye ute å ferierer og har satt poengsum 3 for vi aner rett og slett ikke hva man kan forvente av et 4stjerners hotell. Kan hende vi er luksusdyr som liker komfort, så hotell var helt greit og vi hadde en grei tur. Kommer ikke til å reise tilbake men det er nok mest pga barna. Vil kunne lage mat og ha LYST til å lage mat, og vil kunne gå på stranda UTEN å spurte med en unge på armen, og vil gjerne at de ansatte forstår når jeg spør om hjelp.

Vi overnattet en natt på Oasis og ble positivt overrasket, bra uteområde/basseng og meget god service. Helt grei leilighet. Ikke et sted for å bo over lengre tid, men veldig bra når man må ha en overnatting. Restauranter i Glyfada i nærområde. Vi måtte reise tidlig om mrg, da hadde hotellet laget matpakker til oss, det er det nok ikke alle steder som hadde gjort. Kan anbefale dette stedet og kommer gjerne igjen på neste gjennomreise.

Hotel Oasis in Glyfada, close to beach and shops
Very nice reception and swimming pool, pleasant and helpful staff. We enjoyed the stay, the price was good, breakfast OK. Very convenient connection to Airport and Athens, and close to shopping area in Glyfada. The apartment was OK, although a little worn. But some kitchen equipment was lacking (it was quickly provided), and one of the cooking tops out of order. There was annoing noise in the plumbing during the night, and some noise from traffic on the highway, but that comes with the advantage of being central. The "garden view" was actually view to the street. We do recommend the hotel; although it was not luxurious, it had good price and good location.

Our stay at Oasis in juli 2011
We were very satisfied with our stay at Oasis Hotel Apartments. We where two families together, 2 children in each familiy (4 and 8 years old). Perfekt, clean ang big enough pool-area with 3 pools and place enough around it. The hotel is even much better than the pictures at hotels.com sis showing. There were places to sit both in the sun and in the shadow. It was good overwiew in the pool-area. The rooms were with aircondicion! The only thing i didnt like with the room was the carpets on the floor (vegg-til-vegg-tepper). But we got used to that also...:) The restaurant at the hotel were very good with tasteful food and very good service! Good service at every parts of the hotel! We ate a lot there since it was very hot weather in july there... near the beach, but you had to cross a trafficated hi-speed road to go to the beach. The beach near by wasnt too good because of small stones, not sand. We went to another beach about 5-10 minutes with the "tram". That was an oraniced beach with sand, not stones (!!), 5 Euro pr adult to get in. Best Regards from Norway!

In a nice location - 15 mins walk from Glyfada town centre which had lots of shops and f restaurants. Literally a few mins walk from the beach and a bus stop right outside the hotel meant it was easy to get buses to the airport and into Athens. The Staff were very helpful and polite. It was not worth the money we paid. The property is showing it’s age and needs upgrades to justify room rates. No toiletries in the washroom other than a refillable hand soap dispenser that doubled as shampoo. Staff not helpful with our luggage, only 1 luggage cart on site. The breakfast was ok. Large variety but the quality of the food was poor. The location of the hotel is very good and there is plenty of parking.

The room didn't even look like the one we booked. One renovated room on pictures, which we paid, another old, worn out and broken was given to us. Next, we go to the balcony, and we see the mortar fell off. Then, no water in the toilet. We reported to the reception, but nobody repaired it. We got a bucket to pour the water ourselves into the toilet! Then we had no hot water in the bathroom! Seriously? Can it be worse than that? The breakfast limited choice and basic food, in order not to use some stronger attributes. In Greece? The land of tasty food, bakeries, sweetest fruits? There was only cold milk, but no warm milk. Shoulder ham instead of real ham, only one basic corn flakes, no traditional spanakotiropita, no croissants, etc. Finally, the personnel, especially waiters who were very unpleasant and unwelcoming. Their only concern was to get the money, nothing else matters. The first word at the reception desk was - can I get your credit card, sir? The same in the garden - waiters seemed to be obsessed with receipts. No smile, minimum service, but very focused on delivering bills and taking care that everything is expressly paid. Really positive were maids, cleaning personnel. All respect to those ladies. Doing their job perfectly and always pleasant, with a smile. Thanks to them, rooms were very clean and tidy. Old, worn out, broken, non functional, without water, but clean and tidy.
