«River Dance cottage is a comfortable.clean and well presented holiday stay. The owners go to great lengths to ensure you feel welcome, and also have everything you need. A welcome pack of wine and tasty cookies are left for you to enjoy, the cottage has a fitted kitchen with all amenities. The towels are thick and fluffy too. «Lovely cottage in Fremington. Nicely furnished and exactly as advertised. Kitchen has a washer/dryer which is very handy and a dishwasher. Nice bathroom with shower over bath and plentiful hot water. Beds really comfortable and loads of space upstairs. Underfloor heating in lounge was a treat and wood burner lovely on a cold February night. Enclosed front garden, made it easy for the dogs and would be nice to sit out in the summer. «Lovely cosy cottage. Hosts were very friendly and helpful.We loved the wildlife and the spectacular views. So peaceful and a very short drive to Barnard castle. If I'm to be picky I would say a heater would be a good idea in the conservatory for colder months. The cottage itself was really warm. I can honestly say there is nothing to complain about. We enjoyed every minute. Thank you.»

«Perfect little cottage for a quiet getaway. My fiance and me were looking for somewhere to unwind from our very hectic lives, and we found it at Tom's Cottage. The cottage itself is extremely welcoming - with an open fire, which was very handy because we were there in February. «We had a lovely stay at The Old Barn, it’s well equipped, quiet and dog friendly. The parking worked well, we have a 4x4 and a tow bar mounted bike rack. We also appreciated having a secure shed for our bikes. The neighbours are friendly and made us feel welcome, we are planning to return to the cottage to explore the area further. My only comment is about recycling as we couldn’t find a recycling bin. But we did locate and use the local recycling facility, which is at The Reeth Dales Centre.»
