5. Birchfields Guest House

Manchester

«The room was nice and very affordable, nice quiet area and good security with the cameras and door codes. Very easy to book and travel to with bus stop down the street. The main issue was the other people staying there lacking hygiene and respect as whenever I used the toilet there was wee all over the seat. This is not the owners fault, but the other guests. Other than that it was very nice :)»

9. OYO Cornerstone Manor Hotel

Sale

«In poor state. Dirty toilet with skid marks and one towel used when we first arrived. Tiny double bed with only one duvet and one sheet, which they had arranged horizontally as it was for two people. Did not work in practice, especially since it was no heat and therefore very cold at night. The radiator did not work and could not be adjusted. Also, the shower had low pressure and there were no fridge. Only good thing is location if you are going to Old Trafford and MAN airport. »

10. Bowling Green

Manchester

TUSEN TAKK FOR OSS! ...

«Staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly plus the breakfast scrambled eggs were delicious. However the property is a little tired looking. My specific room was very dark as several ceiling bulbs had gone and the bedside lights were extremely dim so difficult to read by them. Also both the mirrors were very high. I’m 5.3 and could only see top of my head in the bathroom mirror. These things could be easily fixed.»

20. Ash Farm Country Guest House

Altrincham

«Ash Farm is a quaint bed and breakfast off the beaten track but close to all the amenities of Altrincham. Next door is a great pub; The Swan with 2 nicks. Within walking distance is Dunham Massey park. The bedroom was clean, comfortable and quiet. A great retreat compared to the hustle and bustle of city hotels. The breakfast is a 5 star experience and has something for everyone. Obviously the Full English wins every day. The staff are wonderful and friendly making the whole experience first ...
