«Nice room, very helpfull staff. Hotel gives you easy access to the City centre with just a short walk. Several stores just next Doors. A pleasant stay.»

«We had a great stay, with everything we needed. Exceeded expectations and will certainly book again if in the area. Very convenient with on site parking and an easy walk into the city centre.»

«Standard room. Nothing special»

«Rooms are on 2 different levels so very quiet. We stayed in room 2 which was lovely, with tea & coffee etc and very welcome biscuits. No need to bring shower products as they are all provided. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of items (ordered the night before). The fruit salad was fab & I can highly recommend the omelette! My husband had the full English, which he really enjoyed. Offered more tea/coffee & toast. The hosts Jane & Mark were lovely and very helpful regarding the local area ...

«Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast, we had a great choice of breakfasts, the full English was a bit too big for me, I couldn't finish it, I should have gone for the small English. Plenty of parking. I would recommend booking a table for dinner as soon as possible, this venue is very popular with the locals. We would definitely stay at the Recruiting Sergeant again.»

«Fantastisk sted. «Visiting family studying at UEA and travelling by public transport. Central location for busses and trains and good eating. Hotel has character, something I personally like. Breakfast is excellent. Didn't try dinner.»

«Det var perfekt. Hyggelige personell, god mat og god beliggenhet ☺️»

«Outside is nice, but the hotel is outdated. No one cleans your room. Restaurant is not able to give you a table ad-hoc. Gym/pool is full of non guests crowding everything in the morning. Also gym opens way too late and not according to official information etc. Generally stay away.»

«Gammelt, ærverdig hotell med hyggelig betjening. Bra beliggenhet.

Anbefales!»

«Rather basic for the price. Comfortable bed, convenient parking»

«We only stayed for one night but it was brilliant. The cupcakes, milk and eggs left for us were a really lovely touch. My granddaughter was so sad to leave that we will bring the whole family next summer.»

«Great ans sharming place situated close to the river. Very good cask ale!»
