«Well maintained for an older hotel. Shortage of staff on the Tuesday night we were there so the lounge and access to food was closed so a little disappointing. Mattress was lumpy. Breakfast buffet choices were excellent with a large dining area.»

«Adorable little hotel, only about a dozen rooms and unstaffed but quiet and discreet. Rooms are sheik and the beds are fantastic (like really comfortable). Probably the best part is the location, just a few miles from Union Station, the Jazz District, downtown and the WW1 museum with a great coffee shop across the street.»

«The only good thing about this hotel is the location if you are going to a sporting event. If you generally like Holiday Inn Express, lower your expectations. Old, outdated and in need of major renovation. I think it was clean but it was hard to tell from how old everything was. Carpet looks to be from the 80s, and not in a cool vintage way. The blow dryer in the room was rusted, the shower had broken off shelves, there were paint splatters on the walls and it was definitely not Dove products ...

«Property is under massive renovation. Construction materials are scattered in and out of the buildings. Parking lot was full of nails and barely usable. Several of the security doors had no locks. Hallways had no air conditioning. Our suite had no sitting area. The shower had no hot water. Kitchen had cookware but no eating utensils. Breakfast was biscuits and gravy, powdered eggs and undercooked sausage and bacon. Inedible at best. Unfortunately we had booked three nights and never felt safe ...

«Lovely room with a great view. Staff is excellent. Location is absolutely perfect: There's a streetcar stop directly outside that drops you off at the Plaza on one end and tons of other attractions on the other end — Union Station, World War I Memorial, much more. Westport restaurants are very close by. CONS: The food is vastly overpriced and middling at best. The breakfast buffet is currently $25 per person and the food is not better than you'd get at any breakfast buffet. I don't mind paying ...

«The room was what i expected for the price i paid. One of the beds was uneven. The bathroom sink drained really slow. The breakfast was limited. It was ok if you just needed a place to crash for the night like I did.»

«It was very nice, they have been redoing it. They don’t leave enough cups, coffee, tea, or water in the room. If you have 2 queen beds, you check to see how many are in the room and leave stuff accordingly. Mold in shower»

«The staff were kind, despite issues at check-in due to them being ill informed. The rooms are overpriced for what you actually get. I got a corner room and there wasn't much more but empty space. The shower had no body wash, and there's no way to use it without making a mess on the floor. the front desk did not answer the phone, the room was not turned down after I was assured it would be and there's no microwave in the room. The lobby and overall decor is charming but this place is more flash ...

«Very clean bathrooms and casino floor is nice. Didn’t eat here except the late night pizza from the far end of the casino floor at the bar. I think they stayed open until 2am or something»
