«We enjoyed the areas attractions and atmosphere. Biking, hiking and fishing are all nearby. The Elmaro winery is 10-15 minutes away and was a pleasant experience with great views of the vineyard. The lock and dam can be seen from the house and it provided occasional entertainment as the tugs pushed barges through the chamber.»

«Place was as described. There is a pull out couch in the living room that gave good privacy from the other bedroom that has the queen size bed in it. Nicely placed night lights helped navigate to the bathroom. Had a delightful stay»

«beautiful house meet all of our needs for room. we had a little problem with ants in the guest bedroom. the biggest issue is the train that goes by all day and night about 100 yards from your window. the cherry was when they went from the north to the south, because there was 2 tracks on our side of the road, they blew their horn about 25,000 times. then the train on the other side of the river doing the same thing, it was dueling train horns.»

The property was super clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the view to the river was beautiful! The train does run nearby so if you are a lighter sleeper, you may hear it. «It fit our needs, we were ven dors at Ashley for the Arts. We didn't spend any time there. It was a bit pricey for a bedroom and a bathroom. Getting in and out of the clawfoot tub was a challenge without anything to hold onto. Very clean, basic accomidations.»
