Caleta de Fuste, belonging to the municipality of Antigua, is located on the east coast of the island, just 5 minutes from Fuerteventura Airport and 10 minutes from the capital, Puerto del Rosario. This tourist centre has been created around a natural inlet very protected from the waves and wind, where a large beach has been created, eminently familiar for its safety and absence of waves. This position, almost in the centre of the island, makes it a perfect holiday destination, as both the northern (Corralejo, El Cotillo) and southern (Costa Calma, Jandía) places of interest are at the same distance. Caleta de Fuste offers one of the biggest commercial and leisure offers of the whole island, with its great number of shopping centres (The biggest is the Centro Comercial Atlántico, with a great variety of shops, bars and restaurants, and modern Yelmo Cineplex cinemas), as well as a promenade of several kilometres long, a marina with boat trips, and pedestrian and commercial spaces.
