«The food in the restaurant was superb and had a wide variety of choices that worked for us (vegetarian). The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. Staff was friendly. We had a room that had a private bathroom (not en-suite) that needed a bit of work. Only down-side was there were no towels when we arrived. We asked, but none appeared. Evening staff was very busy in the bar that was packed and I think they were short staffed, so somewhat understandable.»

When we booked, the guest house advertised their restaurant service. As we arrived we were told that the service was not available. The guest house is nicely located - however next to the town's main road and its rather heavy and noisy traffic. To secure a good night's sleep - make sure to ask for a room not facing the road.
