Great transport routes just a couple of minuets walk, the tram service is excellent, apart from that our only intervention with the surrounding area was limited, purposeful but not pleasing to the eye. We used the trams to travel into Amsterdam and found a huge amount of restaurant's and bars.

Es hat beinahe alles nicht gepasst wir sind beide über 80, aber so was an Schnoddrigkeit und im Raum stehen lassen haben, wir selten erlebt. De Zimmer sind so klein, dass man sich nicht bewegen kann ohne dasman irgendwo anstösst. Das Waschbecken lief nicht ab und der Schnodder vom Vorbenutzer war noch vorhanden. Auf die Reklamation hin:Man wisse um das Problem, das sei in allen Zimmern so!!!! Es herrscht eindeutig die Jugend in diesem Hotel, zusammen mit den sehr jungen Crews von arabischen oder südostasiatischen Flugbetrieben.

Such a great place! The staff were excellent and so helpful with all our questions. The rooms were clean & nice with a refrigerator & coffee. The restaurant was great & the bar was perfect! We would hang out in the lobby/bar area each night for a drink and to relax. I would definitely stay at this hotel next time in Amsterdam!

Nice hotel but we had electricity issue in the middle of the night and it seemed the air was turned off during the night. Also the shower did not completely drained due to unleveled floor. Otherwise the room was nice and the lobby great. Within walking distance of a metro station. Overall I would stay again as the pros outweighs the cons.

Loved this hotel very clean with lovely staff and facilities there was a delay in check in but the manager was extremely apologetic and provided us with free drinks for our inconvenience. Access to the city from the hotel was easy with the metro across the road.

Decent hotel in the suburb of Amsterdam
Leonardo Royal Hotel is convenient as a conference hotel, but wear and tear is starting to show. I was here first time in October 2022 and now again in November 2023 and I can certainly tell a difference. Most of the cleaning staff appear to be foreigners and some not even English speaking, which is inconvenient if you need something or have questions. WiFi in the meeting rooms is unstable, which is annoying when you are in a conference and every now and then have to check email or similar. The rooms are fairly clean and tidy, and the hotel is located just opposite a train station which is convenient for those that come by train. Get a room at a higher floor so you avoid noise from the train rails.

Very good hotel for business. Close to RAI Conference Center, where I came for. Clean, large, comfortable rooms, tram station just outside, so very good in that. Nice sauna and steam room, good breakfast Inconveniences: the don't accept Cash at the property, nothing around this area, and water at restaurant very expensive. No water on the room too. Also the mini-market at the promise too expensive
