Dette var ett fin leilighets hotell, greie standard på rommet. Eneste ulempen var akkurat det rommet jeg fikk, det var så utrolig varmt på badet. Når det er 38 grader ute ønsker man jo ett kaldt bad :)

Sentral og fint hotell
Hotellet lå sentralt til, nært kollektivtransport og marked. Ypperlig service fra hyggelig personal. Rent i både gangen og leiligheten. Leiligheten var passe størrelse, med alt vi trengte på kjøkkenet.

Refererer til tidligere mail til dere. Det første rommet vi hadde funket ikke tv og det var mangel på alt som skulle til for å lage mat der, så vi fikk etter noen dager ett nytt rom. Dette hadde heller ikke tilstrekkelig med kjøkkenutstyr. Sengene var også veldig ukomfortable. Vi ble lovt ett avslag i prisen men fikk beskjed om å ta dette med dere og har ennå ikke fått noe form for respons. Ikke fornøyd...

Apears nice, but it is not
We were 4 friends travelling for a birthday celebration weekend in Amsterdam. According to the website, a Deluxe apartment looked perfect for our needs. This is one of those places that try to be a five star accomodation, but to us it seemed that the management were taking a "golden shower": the hotel/apartment complex does not have a front desk, and there is no staff to be found, Although we had sent them information about what time we would arrive, no one was there. And when we tried to contact them by phone, no one answered. We even asked the staff at the neighobour hotel to call them, but no answer. After waiting two hours, and calling the Norwegian administration in hotels.com, they show up claiming that we called the wrong number (it was something about adding an zero...) Tired and a bit exhausted, the room we got (#10) does not correspond to the pictures of the webpage (2 floors, 60 sq. meters), when trying to address this - management said that we had got a deluxe apartment. Having the apartment closest to the main entrance, other guest would knock on our door having the excact same problem getting in touch of the management. The apartment was OK, but it lacked essencials like a wine opener, it contained two wine glasses and the bathroom floors stayed wet and damp for the whole weekend. Nice neighboor hood and walking distance to the center.

The property is in a good condition. The employees are amazingly helpful and friendly. I think the only problem was the cleaning. I understand that it’s a busy aparthotel so it might be difficult to clean fast before the guests arrive. But there was long, black woman hair on my pillow as well as dirts on the floor. Other than that I would definitely come back and stay here again.

Very low-average apartment to stay
I stayed in room 12. Nice for 2 people not for 4. Good heated system. The suppletory bed (couch) was comfy. What isn't good is the pillows, I asked for a flat pillow because the one we had was extra high but unfortunately they have only this kind of high, hard pillows. There was a window in the bedroom in the ceiling. The system to open the curtain didn't work or the receptionist didn't know how to use it. No toaster in the kitchen appliances. Very limited kitchen stuff to use properly in the kitchen. I couldn't close the couch during the day so the space for 4 adults inside the living room area was small. Not enough space to leave the hand luggage (we didn't have suitcases). No space for the raincoats for 4 people (the wardrobe is small)... Some switches were not working properly. Some lights were broken or not working. Very noisy room. The main door of the hotel doesn't close properly so everyone has to slap very strong the door to close it so they make noise all day and night. Please fix that problem urgently. They didn't replace coffee or tea bags during our 4-day stay. No shampoo, only a bottle of gel in the shower for body and hair (no good quality). The location was good.

Rude terrible staff
Room stunk of smoke and fish! Asked to change room but he want to charge an extra €50! We checked out, no refund given & we lost our money !

Dear, Thanks for your comment. Our staff are not rude, but they are professional. Because they follow our rules and not just accept all you wanted doesn't make them rude or terrible. You paid for a studio room and you received a studio room. According to our staff the room was OK, yet we do understand that you might be more sensitive. As we didn't have any other Studio room we offered you a Deluxe room, and of course you need to pay for the difference. The 50 was also a rate with discount, not even the actual price difference. Hotel ganz offensichtlich in den letzten Jahren renoviert, ansprechendes Dekor des Zimmers, leider in manchen Details nicht wirklich durchdacht, sehr stickig da schlecht zu lüften auch mit 2 Ventilatoren, Duschkabine zu klein und an einer Seite offen mit unvermeidlicher Überschwemmung und Rutschgefahr, sehr freundliches Personal, gute Lage, schwierige Parksituation

Amsterdam hotel for backpackers
Golden mansion was another hotel I stayed in during my 21 day backpacking trip. I was new to Amsterdam and the staff were very accommodating, helpful and quite nice. The room satisfied our needs to excess. Everything was diligently cleaned prior to our stay. Kitchen accommodations came in nicely once we found a Lidl just down the street. I’d be happy to stay here again!

Super rapport qualité prix. Appartement spacieux, bien agencé, bien placé à 15 minutes à pied du quartier des musées, mais tout est accessible facilement. Calme. Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas un canapé, 1 seule chaîne TV française. il n'y avait pas de casserole mais il suffit de demander et mon système d'ouverture électronique de porte est malheureusement tombé en panne... car piles HS. Réparé en 15 minutes. Je recommande, séjour agréable.

On arrival our sofa bed was broken, and was so complicated that even if it werent broken, trying to change it from a bed to a sofa during the day wouldve been unmanagable. the handsanitizer station at the bottom of the stairs was always empty. Great location for getting around.

Disappointing
We booked with my partner an early Valentine’s Day stay, it was meant to be studio apartment with separate living space, double bed and full size fridge. We wanted to cater for ourselves. Instead, we got a tiny standard room, with two single beds pushed together, broken toilet, dishwasher and hob extractor and no space to move about. I went downstairs to complain and was told there were no rooms available for that night... so we were forced to stay there! We were moved the following day but still that pretty much ruined the first day of us being in there! All I can say, avoid room 14!
