Accommodating and genuine staff that respects privacy and helps out with whatever is needed. Eco-friendly and modern atmosphere all throughout, which lightens the entire impression. Distance from city center is good enough, and the public transport in Amsterdam makes everything close. Short walk to the beautiful Vondelpaark, which I enjoyed a lot. All in all a very good experience

Meget hyggelige ansatte, rolig og fin beliggenhet.
Fantastisk, imøtekommende og hyggelig personell. Forsvant en 25 pakning sigaretter fra rommet (renholdere). Dette ble meldt i resepsjonen og kompensert av dem. Klimaanlegget røk og virket ikke de første 5 dagene (tålte ikke 40 grader ute). Ellers og alt i alt, Et greit opphold👍

Good location
Large new conference hotel close to Oslo S. Given size it can feel a bit impersonal. The rooms were nicely decorated, but small, with no desk for working. Nice view from bar on 13th floor.

Very nice and clean hotel 10-15 min from city center with tram or bike. Rent bike at the hotel , very easy. Nice straff, and the room was clean and fresh.

Nytt og fint hotell
Vi ble møtt av en smilende og hyggelig jente som hjalp oss med innsjekking og alt gikk veldig kjapt og greit. Rommene var enkle og fine, med en god seng. Det eneste minus med rommet var at gulvet på badet var veldig kaldt, og sluken i dusjen var litt treg, så det var lett for at det kom vann utover hele gulvet. Hotellet ligger i et rolig område rett ved vondelpark, en nydelig fin park som anbefales å se. Ca 4-5 minutter gåavstand til nærmeste trikkestopp, som tar deg inn til sentrum på 10 minutt.

My mom and I came to stay for five nights - even though the hotel isn't right in the center of the city, we loved the access to Vondelpark and thought the transport links worked well. There weren't many frills but everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff was mostly helpful especially with luggage storage! Would stay again when visiting Amsterdam.

We had such a great stay at this small eco-friendly, people-friendly hotel. It is clean and comfortable-not fancy but very friendly and fun. The hotel is located at the southwest entrance to the Vondelpark which makes walking or biking to the old city and Rijksmuseum so easy and pleasant. There are also 2 tram stops a short walk from the hotel. Plenty of places nearby to eat or stop in and have a drink. We were very happy with our choice of hotels and will stay at The Tire Station again when we come back to Amsterdam.

I booked this hotel for a friend and I who were staying a couple nights. I booked the room with two twin beds, I wasn’t extremely excited sleeping right by my friend (that’s what the two twin bed option showed), but I know him well enough that I thought oh well it’ll be OK. We were so pleasantly surprised when we got our room and the twin beds were practically separated from each other and in other rooms (the room was shaped like an L one bed was when you walked in and one was around the corner). I’m saying this in case you want to call the hotel and ask if that double twin room is specifically available so you don’t have to sleep right next to someone if you don’t want to. For those people who aren’t sure, the bathroom in our room was in a totally separate and had a door. The room had no view. But that’s not why we chose the room, it was very well priced and close to the tram. The room was also very clean. There was a kettle so you could make tea or coffee. There was a small area to store and hang some things, and ample hooks on the walls. The staff was super nice and super friendly. They have a really cute area where you can get a glass of wine or coffee. There’s also a small shop with a few necessaries and souvenirs. For the money and cleanliness, this is hard to beat. It will take about 10 minutes by tram to get to downtown Amsterdam proper, but that tram ran constantly. There’s a really great Indian/nepali restaurant in walking distance called Annapurna.

It has been a wonderful stay in this hotel. Very practical, with a parking, near public transport. We had a room with a view on a canal, that was very nice and confortable, but a bit noisy because of the tram. The hotel is very clean, like new, the breakfast is fresh and homemade. The employees were very friendly. I highly recommend.

We booked last minute after desperately searching for a decently priced hotel in Amsterdam. Hotel exceeded expectations in this respect, as it was very nicely organised, lovely deco, clean, spacious, mostly friendly and helpful staff. Location was very nice (next to the park, with options for food/supermarket/transport), and even though it was quite far out from the city center we did not feel it, as we rented bikes from the hotel (very sturdy and good quality) making our stay even more pleasant. We would definitely recommend, and likely would stay there again in a next visit.

The hotel was in a great location with lots of tram links to get to the centre. There are lots of quant restaurants and eateries near that serve lovely food and are within walking distance from the hotel. The hotel shop is open all night which is useful. Staff are friendly and the room and bathroom were very clean. Over all it was lovely and we had a great stay.
