Our gigantic beds are topped with heavenly mattresses, the finest luxurious Italian linen, and pillows fluffier than a baby duckling. As our hotel is the 2nd citizenM hotel the bathrooms are designed with the shower and toilet in the middle in the room However the walls are made of frosted glass so nothing will be on full show. Should you still feel a little naked - we do have a curtain to divide the room from the bed if you need more privacy. The hotel opened after ours do have a separated shower and toilet in the rooms. Currently we are having 29 hotels into operation and we definitely recommend you to try out the new design of the bathrooms upon your next travels. There are several ways to commute from/to the city center; Walking is definitely a nice way to explore the city and the neighboring area - however the options worthwhile to consider are as well; the tram line 5, departing just at the corner of the hotel and taking you via the Museumsquare, Rijksmuseum, to the Leidseplein and through the Jordaan area or the so called super fast "North - South line", metro line 52 taking you in 10 minutes to reach the center of Amsterdam. That's why our beds are huge and comfy, the movies and Wi-Fi free, and the showers truly jetlag busting. We added a large storage drawer under each bed and we kept clutter in the rooms to a minimum. And as always, our living rooms (not your ordinary lobbies!) and everything in them (books, art, TV) are all yours to enjoy every time you visit us.
