Veldig hyggelig personale, god mat i bistroen der, egen etasje for executive rom som gjør det mer privat. Stille og rolig og kan tusle hvor som helst i byen fra hotellet. Skal definitivt tilbake dit :)

Nor quite 5stars, expensive, but good Location,
Asked specifically for baththub. Got confirmation from the hotell. Did not get om arrival. Was told to ask every day for a new room without luck. The service and friendliness is ok. Not always people present in the front desk. Check in and out can take time. Slow system? Check your bill. We got charged extra breakfast. Interiors are old. Exterior could also need a Fresh up. Dinner in the restaurant is great! Location is quiet, posh and pretty central.

OK, but nothing more
The hotel is OK. Breakfast was really disappointing (dry bread, sloppy bacon), and they did not give me new towels either of the days there was cleaning on the room. The people working there was really nice, so no offense towards them. The location was great – we were there to run the marathon, and it was nearby the stadium.

Helt greit
Store rom, fin beliggenhet litt utenfor sentrum. Hadde ikke treningsrom eller spa som oppgitt. Skulle forsøke oss på det, men fikk en billett til et annet senter i nærheten som stengte kl 14. Litt skuffende. Frokost var middels minus.

The hotel was OK, but not as good as expected based on the 5 stars. It is stated that they have a gym and a Spa. This is NOT correct.

Amsterdam på sitt beste
Veldig positiv opplevelse. Store rom, fint bad og god komfort. Nærområdet var en opplevelse i seg selv - flott strøk - rolig. Anbefales på det varmeste.

Kom endel ekstra kostnader vi ikke har fått vite om. Mye problemer med betaling og ansatte som brukte svært lang tid på å rette dette opp, noe som utgjorde at vi mistet flere timer i Amsterdam og betalte mer penger enn vi skulle. Ellers var det et veldig fint hotell og fine rom.

Første og siste gang på dette hotellet
Bra beliggenhet. Veldig harde senger. Fikk ekstra overmadrass som var 2 mm tykk. Den hadde overhodet ikke noen effekt. Renhold kunne vært bedre. Trekker også ned at det ikke var mulig å få rom med dusj, alle rom har badekar.

According to hotels.com the room was fully paid, but when we arrived at the Hotel we had to pay nine euro extra in local tax. The service was unusually slow

Sloppy Service!
I paid for an Executive room. It turned out to look nice, but was very cold! It took the staff two hours to arrive when asked to check the room temperature, and then only after second reminder. The reason for the low temperature: The central heating was turned off although still minus outside and the air condition in this part of the hotel was out of order. No information about this when checking in. I was offered to move to another room where the quests did not want to stay because it was overheated (maybe something wrong with the air condition also there?). The house keeping promised me an extra blanket – None was there when returning from dinner to go to bed. The kitchen needed 18 minutes to provide a simple breakfast omelette. They were not overworked as there were only a few other guests in the room. A printout out was promised the evening before to be ready when checking out – not yet printed when arriving at the reception for the checkout at around 10.30. In addition: I had to spend nearly an hour on the phone with their network provider to get online, while my computer WiFi worked without any problems at the NH hotel in The Hague the days before and likewise at my next stop in Stockholm.

Lived up to expectations
Nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed & room. "Posh" neighborhood with a few restaurants/shops a couple of blocks away. Possible to walk to museum district, about half an hour walk to Leidseplein. Too far (for most people) to walk to city center. Tram nearby, and of course- taxis...

Good hotel, easy walking distance about 30 minutes from the centre. Easy for Uber too. Room was standard and nice. Coffee machine in room but ours stopped working by the second day. You don’t get the robs and slippers unlike other 5 stars. Staff were nice. Would recommend if you can purchase in a deal.

Overall I would not recommend anyone stay here. When I arrived I was told I still need to pay for the booking, even though I already paid. After some the staff was able to find the payment and then charge me additional check in fees. When we booked I understood there was additional fees to pay at the hotel and was given the estimate of about $40 CAD. When I checked in I was billed over $200 CAD for fees and taxes. I don’t get why Expedia isn’t more upfront about these additional costs. When checking out, the staff again told me I had to pay for my whole booking. Again, I had to prove I already paid. The showers leaked, rooms were small and there’s some sort of backyard nightclub next door that blasts music until 2 am. They charge €30 for a breakfast buffet which is insane. Local transports is about a 10 min walk away then about a 20 min train to the city. Look elsewhere for your stay in Amsterdam

Excellent location. Not exactly in the center of town, but in an exquisite neighborhood. The area is worth the distance from noise and confusion of city center. Short walk the trams to get anywhere in the city. Park nearby is a lovely means to cut through to museums and such. Property is maintained wonderful. Our room was spacious, bathroom on the small side. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was pleasant enough with many options.

The property advertised themselves as 5 star luxury spa on expedia. There is NO pool or spa in the hotel. The entrance is at the backside and its not central, 1 hour from the city on foot. The staff started making fun of us when we inquired about the spa. Very unprofessional
