«The staff were very nice but when we got there we had smoking rooms. None of us smoke so it was a horrible experience. We opened the windows in all three rooms and bought a few cans of air freshener but it was impossible to clear the air in the rooms so none of us could sleep!»

«I have now stayed at the Echo Lodge in West Sacramento 4 times in the last 2 months and have stayed in 3 different rooms. It has quickly become my favorite affordable motel in the Sacramento area. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, everything works, and it is surprisingly quiet. Today when I walked into the office, she not only recognized me, she had already pulled up my reservation in the computer. She welcomed me back and handed me my key. I can't recall anything like that ever ...

«Sink didnt drain, knats in bathroom, shower water hot then cold, sheets yellow stained and oil stained as well as bedspread. Front desk very kind. Gave new sheets and blanket and offered another room. Both rooms had no filter in the a/c unit. Bugs came thru mine. The shower door was scary dirty with black stuck on gunk and rust and perling paint on shower door. The walkways had oil n gum n gunk all throught as i walked back n forth from my room to get help. »

«I needed a place to stay as i had an early morning medical appointment and I live about 99 miles away. It served it's purpose. However, it appeared that the room was not thoroughly cleaned. There was stray hair in the shower and when I pulled back the sheets, there was also strands of hair. I went and purchased a big bath towel to sleep on. When I came back from dinner, there were guest outside enjoy their alcoholic beverages in the parking lot. I would not recommend this property to solo female ...

«Cockroaches in the rooms, heavy smoke smell. Bed sheets heavily stained. We had reservations for 2 room's and they both were the same. As soon as we saw this we returned the keys and left. Sketchy people in the parking lot. I do not recommend at all. Should not even be listed in any websites. »

«The hotel was quite run down, with chipping paint, and trim, bubbles on the ceiling where leaks had happened, a dirty bathtub and a noisy refrigerator that sounded like a running truck. When it stopped, it sounded like the truck ran over a dozen coke bottles. The furnishings looked 50 years old, with dings and scratches. The nightstand had no lamp, and the chair at the working desk gave me a backache. Wi-Fi was feeble and slow - I got better results tethering to my phone hotspot. Parking was ...
