«First time staying at this property and I absolutely loved it! From the beginning, the staff were so welcoming and attentive! They gave great recommendations for things to do in the area! The front desk staff were so punctual and had ever ready when needed! Our villa was super clean and spacious. It was a lovely time! Only downside was it being on the Lagoon side of the island, so wasn’t much beach area, however, the boat tours and other activities made up for it! Would stay again!»

«Rosie the Office Manager was very helpful with changing our time for the water taxi. Ashanti the bartender made the best dirty banana I have ever enjoyed. Paulina our housekeeper did an excellent job in maintaining the order and cleanness of our room. Mike the maintenance man educated us on the culture of the people of Ambergris Caye and recommended the best restaurants on the island. »

«We had a very pleasant stay at Mata Rocks. The hotel is small and on the beach so it's good opportunities to fully relax and take a swim in the ocean. Breakfast is self- served with toast,bagel,juice and coffee. The hotel is located a bit outside of town center but it's possible to rent bikes which make it easier. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitivly recommend this hotel!»
