Villa Alora Lux is a private hilltop retreat set above the Andalusian mountains, with far-reaching views across the valley and towards the whitewashed town of Álora. Designed for guests who value space, calm, and comfort, the villa offers a peaceful setting for everything from relaxed holidays to longer stays or remote working escapes. The sense of privacy is complete, allowing guests to fully switch off while enjoying a setting that evolves beautifully from sunrise through to sunset.


Inside and out, the villa has been thoughtfully arranged to make the most of light, space and its natural surroundings. Open-plan living areas flow through to shaded terraces and a generous pool area, while large windows draw in natural light throughout the day. The interiors include two king-size bedrooms, a spa-style bathroom with a soaking tub, and a fully equipped kitchen suited to extended stays. Entertainment and practical touches are well considered, from a Smart TV and sound system to high-speed WiFi. Outdoors, a private pool (heated on request), BBQ area, Bluetooth speakers and multiple terraces create space for dining, relaxing, or simply taking in the views.


The villa is positioned within easy reach of some of southern Spain’s most sought-after destinations while maintaining a strong sense of seclusion. The surrounding area offers access to nature, local culture, and well-known landmarks, with the historic town of Álora nearby and Málaga and the Costa del Sol within comfortable driving distance. Set in the hills above the Guadalhorce Valley, Villa Alora Lux enjoys an elevated position with wide-reaching views across the surrounding countryside and towards the historic town of Álora. This part of Andalusia is known for its dramatic landscapes, where rolling hills, olive groves and distant mountain ranges create a striking backdrop that changes throughout the day. From the villa, guests can take in both sunrise and sunset, as well as the illuminated castle of Álora in the evening.


Despite its sense of seclusion, the villa is well placed for exploring the region. Álora (just a 10-minute drive away) offers a glimpse into traditional Andalusian life, with its historic centre, local markets, tapas bars and regular cultural events. Within a short drive, guests can visit the famous Caminito del Rey, while Málaga and the beaches of the Costa del Sol are also easily accessible for day trips. For those looking to explore further, the surrounding area includes wine regions, walking routes and a variety of natural landscapes, all within comfortable reach. The airport is also only a 30-40-minute drive away, which really makes the difference!The owner personally recommends taking the time to visit the lakes at El Chorro and the Guadalhorce Reservoirs, not only for the scenery but for the atmosphere. It's a beautiful place to spend a slower day swimming, walking, kayaking, or simply lunching with a view. It feels wonderfully peaceful, especially if you go earlier in the day. For guests who love the outdoors, this whole area is also ideal for walkers, cyclists, and nature lovers, with beautiful routes and open landscapes all around.

The full occupancy of 6 guests includes the use of two single sofa beds available for use by children only (under 12). Adults may not use these sofa beds.

For those who require pool heating, there will be an additional charge of €200 per week during May, June, September, and October (including short break stays), or €100 per week during July and August, paid prior to travel. This extra is only available on request, and with prior arrangement before arrival (minimum 7 days before check-in). Please note that like all heated pools, pool heating and water temperature are reliant on weather and outside temperatures (maximum 5°C to 6°C above the daytime outdoor temperature).
