«The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that.»

«We would like to come back next year. The house worked perfectly for us. WE loved the area, the Maple Festival, all the restaurants we tried and everyone was so incredibly friendly. We would like to make this weekend an annual event. We did not want to leave.....»

The house and the location were great. kitchen was well equipped (although the old style replica stove was a little challenging for a Thanksgiving dinner - but we made it work). Small details such as spices and Tupperware and aluminum foil made for a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.»

«Our adult family of four enjoyed five nights at Hero's Landing while attending a nearby wedding. What a beautiful, comfortable spot with amazing views of the lake. The older renovated home has all the amenities you would expect. Communications with Charles, the property manager, was superb! We would highly recommend this location... and hope to come back again!»

«We stayed at this house with our married children and our grandchildren. Bev was always available to answer questions when I had them and very friendly. We had PLENTY of room for all of us. It had everything we could have needed and more. We cook alot and the kitchen has anything you could possibly need. We loved taking our kayaks out off the shore. The guys (and my grandaughter😊) caught ALOT of fish in the kayaks and off the dock. It was a favorite of any house we have rented and look forward ...
