The location is very quiet and well maintained. Our room was very spacious. The front desk staff was very friendly. The only bummer for the kiddos we were traveling with was that the pool and hot tub were out of order.

Extremely rude and unfriendly staff. Pool and hot tub was red taped and closed by the city for not passing inspection for safeness and cleanliness. Upon checking in room, the entire 2nd floor was covered in smoke from someone burning something in their room.

The hotel is in a commercial area with a lot of homeless immediately outside hotel parking area. The property itself is in poor condition and not particularly clean in common areas. Our rooms bathroom lights did not work after one night stay and shower grab bar was not secure and pulled off the wall. The staff gave us a new room and the bathroom fan was extremely loud and the sink had no stopper. We have stayed at other LaQuinta properties around the country with great results but this particular Albuquerque location was bad. Would not recommend it.

We have stayed at this hotel several times before. They were all BEFORE Wyndham took over. This trip was different. Arrived at 2:55 and was told we needed to wait until 3pm for a check in. Another guest was waiting already and then one came in shortly after me. I had a confirmed and paid for reservation as well. At 3:15 the manager finally came to the desk to “release” the rooms for the evenings check-ins. Got the check in process complete and was told that the pool and hot tub were out of service. Went to the room, a king suite, and when we entered everything was wide open like they had just competed the room check from construction. The sleeper couch was halfway out and the cushions were just on the side sitting there. Every drawer in the bedroom were open. We were missing a refrigerator and a phone. When we closed everything and put the stuff back we noticed that the sleeper didn’t have any bedding on it and we planned to use it for our son to sleep on. We went to dinner and then when we got back we were at the desk asking for bedding and pillows. They were out of pillows…seriously. The halls are loud and doors slamming all the time that shake the room. The bed was comfortable but the bedding didn’t really fit so the sheets came undone in the middle of the night. Not sure what happened when Wyndham room over but it has gone down hill.

The property entrance was difficult to find. The staff was very nice, but the room was filthy. I spilled some water on the floor and wiped it up with a towel which was black when I finished. No service to the room for 3 days, I had to ask for additional towels each day and the bed was not made. The soap and shampoo ran out. The place is very busy, so they appeared to be making plenty of money without providing any service. Check in was 4 deep when I arrived, and I waited for all the folks in front of me to be processed. There need to be improvements.

The hotel is located in not the greatest area. It looks like maybe they started doing some remodeling in the rooms but forgot to update the bathrooms. Walls are super thin, beds are lumpy, the room had two remotes to operate TV. We will not be staying here again and do not recommend.

Check in was rude. Weird checkin time of 3pm. Have to sign disclaimers and initial a least 7 areas Felt like I was being treated like a criminal. Room table was broken. Bathroom fan was loud and about go fail. Breakfast eggs tasted a day old. Horrible.

The breakfast had very limited choices and the pancake machine kept running out of batter and was not replaced. There was no peanut butter for bread, eggs were not good. There were not any toppings to put on oatmeal. Breakfast could use some improvement. Area around hotel does not feel safe. Video cameras and fencing around parking area would help. On the plus side, the room was clean and very spacious.

All working at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Loved the floors in the newly renovated rooms. Unfortunately poor quality fixtures in bathrooms have not held up in the short time since renovation. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. I wish dog owners cleaned up better after their pets.

Pool wasn't working, breakfast wasn't good, pancake machine was broken and no OJ. Courtesy coffee either out or ice cold. Had to figure out how to use the tv with 2 remotes. Fan in bathroom was very loud and had to shower before 7 am or ran out of hot water. No alarm clock.

I explained to staff I felt something crawling on me at night.... No one came and changed sheet until I BEGGED the Housekeeping supervisor who was some what upset I was asking. We were locked out of our room twice. Forget the breakfast, go somewhere else. Sonia told me she giving me a great room, however there were children over us and the RAN all night. My view was a wall.....The location itself is great, we called it the New Mexico strip because everything was so convenient. Praying I didn't bring any of their friends home.
