The maintenance man was wonderful, I had an issue with my room being HOT and come to find out someone had messed with the thermostat and the radiant heat was at 75 degrees. He was on the issue and had it fixed! I would suggest that Comfort Inn think long and hard about doing a full remodel, it is very far behind in our current world of hotels...mattress, hallway carpet, shower heads, hot water heater, bedding, decor, lighting, ac/heat units (so very old and ugly)..it's old, very dusty and LOUD! Breakfast could also use a makeover...something healthy would be fantastic, too much fatty, salty, 1950's, let's bring it forward into 2026. I realize I am one person making suggestions but I am one person that is telling the truth...I travel 11 months out of the year and I tell the truth when it comes to reviews and/or suggestions to upper management. I can't stand it when I get to a hotel and start sneezing due to dust, pull back the comforter after a long day and find the sheets don't fit the bed or in my case my first room the sheets were used...nasty nasty nasty. Use a fitted sheet made for that sized mattress not a giant sheet sloppily tucked in from the previous guest usage. Shower curtains that don't mist the slick as hell floor, shower heads that actually have actually been cleaned of corrosion so it sprays the way it is intended too. at this point the way The Comfort Inn & Suites is the last place I would stay in Alamosa, until you upgrade the interior.
