The exterior and stair lights switch on when it gets dark and switch off automatically in the morning. We are committed to making our guests' travel experiences as smooth as possible and we provide address information to our guests for planning their itineraries in advance. We are also aware that certain platforms, such as Vrbo, may restrict full website links and hide the word 'Google' from them. That’s why we additionally send clear directions and an additional picture of the house's exterior. This helps guests find our house easily. We are sorry that you have problems with finding the villa. We also apologize for the issue you faced with communication. To avoid potential delays in responding to late-night (after 10:30 p.m. Icelandic time GMT+0) calls, we included our local neighbor's phone number as an emergency contact in the check-in message that you received, along with the address and detailed house information. Dear Mrs. Sanders, Thank you for your review. I am sorry that you, Mrs. Sanders, did not enjoy your stay. Indeed, the house has five bedrooms and can easily accommodate ten people. No matter how many guests a booking is made for, all common areas such as the living room, the kitchen, the sunroom and the technical room will be available for the guests. Additional guests require extra preparations and cleaning after their stay. When a booking is made, a person making the booking is requested to provide the number of guests and rooms required to allocate everyone. This allows us to keep the prices low for couples. Additional guests or larger groups incur a small additional fee (33€/pers paying on the place) which covers increased common expenses and for cleaning. We always request our guests to provide their accommodation requests in advance, prior to check in. In your case, a booking was made for a master bedroom and two guests only. Extra guests could be added prior to booking or communicated to us at any time prior to check in, so we could make the arrangements and provide more rooms. Comfort of our guests is our priority. We would have prepared an extra room if we had known that more guests would be coming. At the time of your booking, the dryer was not included on the list of available facilities, and we adjusted the price to reflect that.
