Main town area walking distance if reasonably fit but we had a car which we used daily and for trips around island. Close to airport but planes landing not really a big deal. No noise from take off. You cannot walk to anything because there are no pedestrian paths and it would be very dangerous to walk on the winding roads. Ubers were extremely expensive - 40 euros to go 3 km. Great hotel, would recommend.
"Very nice hotel. Great location, only a few minutes walk to Fira central square and bus terminal. Our room had a view to the sea and sunrise which is very beautiful. Buffet breakfast served every morning, the cooking and service is excellent. The hotel has a spa which is very relaxing after a day of exploring Santorini. The staff are very kind and helpful, they also have a lot of knowledge about the island and provide good recommendations for activities. 10/10, I would absolutely recommend this hotel. "
