B&B i Adirondack Trail

«I gave 3 stars because of the historic charm, and walking distance to town. We did not try the restaurant. The carpet on the stairs looks as old as the house. Upon walking into the Morley room I was repulsed by the disgusting carpet, stained with blood, bleach, and who knows what else. The bathroom was clean, but the toilet wouldn’t stop running. The bed was comfortable, but the sheets and pillow cases wouldn’t stay put. There was no staff to be seen until we were leaving, and no coffee until ...

«Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!»

«While the rooms and furnishings are very nice, the bathrooms we not cleanly or updated. The night I stayed there, the power had gone off and there was no air conditioning and the no water. This could be a nice B&B but the outdoors need to be improved. For starters, they could remove the junk water heater from the front porch.»

«We checked in on our own for just 10 minutes and left this place. Nobody present to welcome us. No wifi and or internet, all fridges were unplugged. Web everywhere. Trees overgrown on hot tub and pool and many more! »

«Pros: Valerie is a kind host, and the property is in one of the most beautiful areas I have ever stayed. Cons: There is one shared bathroom on the first floor. There is no bathroom in the room, or the one next door which I saw when I found out that the dividing door was not locked. The pillows did not have liners in the pillow cases and were stained so we did not use them. The sheets had other people's hair on them, so we didn't use the cover sheets or blankets.
