«Absolutely incredible location with a modern, new ‘cabin’…ice cold A/C!Thayer Lake access on property allowed for kayaking in easy water. There’s a Torch Lake beach about 3 minutes away for swimming etc. We enjoyed The Muffin Tin in Alden! The owners were great to communicate with and work with. The in-unit ductless washer/dryer was a huge plus for me. The water is a little hard so plan accordingly if not used to it. I personally slept on the queen. It’s a little too plush for my preference, I ...

«Great week on the lake. This house met all our needs. Host was very responsive both before and during our stay. Check-in/check-out instructions were clear. House was very clean and the beds were surprisingly comfortable. In no particular order, we really enjoyed the 2 kayaks, 2 stand-up paddle boards, the gas grill, the outdoor chairs, the designated parking spots. My only regret is that we spent too many days exploring the local area when some of the funnest times were just hanging out at ...

«Cabin was super clean and very well decorated. Landscaping was well maintained and looked beautiful by the lake. Host let us check in early since we were in the area which was very kind of them! Quiet area, a little noise from the main road but nothing crazy or too noticeable. Hot tub was great, perfect temperature and clean. Plenty of blankets and towels for guests. Would absolutely stay here again, short drive to traverse city which is what we came for. Host was also very quick with response ...

«Overall nice stay! Cabin is beautiful. The kayaks and games were the highlight of the kids trip. The location and privacy were great/peaceful. Plenty of room for everyone to sleep but it is an open space so can be loud for those on bunks if there are people downstairs.»
