This hotel is rated as a 4-star property, but it is closer to a 2.5-star experience at best. The staff was very friendly and courteous; however, the facility and guest rooms are in serious need of renovation. Water from the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor, forcing us to use towels to manage the overflow. The room temperature was inconsistent, even though the thermostat settings never changed. The bedding was stained, and the mattress was in extremely poor condition, with visible tears and dark stains.
Safety and security were also major concerns. There appeared to be no security presence, and anyone could walk onto the property and sit in the lounge area, making it difficult to distinguish hotel guests from non-guests. There were activities in the lobby that appeared questionable, which further contributed to feeling unsafe. Additionally, the room doors did not have chains or deadbolts, adding to the lack of security. Overall, the condition and safety of the property did not meet expectations for a 4-star hotel, and I did not feel secure during my stay.
