«I stayed for a few days in wintry January. The room (facing Pownal, 3rd floor) was a clean and cozy refuge from the weather. There was a thermostat I could adjust when it was especially cold and windy outside. The staff were all lovely and every morning I enjoyed complementary coffee available downstairs. Argyle Shore Provincial Park can be found on the south side of the island and thus home to the beautiful red beaches PEI is known for. This park while small is very beautiful and the perfect spot for a picnic, swim, or just relaxing. There are stairs that lead you down to the water during low tide but be sure to get out before water levels rise. The park offers free parking, washrooms, a playground and is pet friendly.
