«This historic VRBO was updated and yet held onto its historic charm with exposed brick, beams and decor. The beds were comfortable, the towels were fluffy and the kitchen was well appointed. The cappuccino keurig machine was awesome and my kids appreciated the variety of snacks and hot teas left by the hosts. «The location can't be beat- right on the river and walking distance to everything you could want. That being said, the accommodations were average- it gives the vibe of DIY. If you have reactive dogs (luckily we don't) i would suggest staying elsewhere- you can hear all the movements of your neighbors. But again, location was awesome.»

«This home was very unique and filled with charm! We loved learning the history of Haines Shoes and the history of the Shoe House. We found the home to have all the comforts of home away from home. The home is decorated beautifully, very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the family room is wonderful for relaxing in the evening. We did not have time for the hot tub and fire pit but hope to the next time we visit.»
