«Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. The ease of accessing the property, the cleanliness, the location, everything was superb. The owners did not miss a thing! They had coffee, oils, salt and pepper, seasoning ketchup, mustard, everything that you would need. They even had wood available for the fire in the fire pit. «What a perfect little getaway for my husband and myself in the heart of Amish country. Our hosts were very kind and accommodating, with breakfast and dinner available. I particularly enjoyed the fact that there are no TVs at this location, and we spent more time wandering the area and talking to eachother. My favorite part was hanging out with the horse in the pasture, and I was thrilled when our hosts allowed me to help with brushing their beautiful Rocket. The friendly tabby cat greeted us and ...

«I suppose I should lead with this is a pretty dated motel, but it's VERY clean. Like, not just OK-clean; it's evident that people are working extremely hard to keep this property as clean and upkept as possible, which isn't easy when a property is older. The care is evident. The hosts were very nice. We had a small problem after we checked in (that turned out to be nothing), and the host was at our door within a minute to check it. The towels were kind of scratchy, and the soap wasn't the best ...

«This is actually a refurbished hotel and I did not feel safe staying as it was basically empty except for 2 other vehicles. We ended up booking another place as this has no one on site only a note saying "call or text" if you have any issues. Not the way to do business as a VRBO.»

«The location was in Market street in the middle of everything and a short walk to Bucknells campus. The place was comfortable and very nice. The inn owner was very nice and incredibly attentive. Everything was really great. »

«Beautiful neighborhood, the carriage house was extremely clean and comfortable. Had access to a garage. It was great for our purpose. Two beds were enough but larger would have been more comfortable. Well stocked and appointed.»

«The motel manager was rude and acted like we were inconveniencing him when we arrived at 10:40 pm at night. All he had to do was provide a working key to our room, but it took three attempts before the door would open. The next morning, he threatened that "karma" would get me. The rooms were clean but kind of smelled aged.»

«This home was very unique and filled with charm! We loved learning the history of Haines Shoes and the history of the Shoe House. We found the home to have all the comforts of home away from home. The home is decorated beautifully, very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the family room is wonderful for relaxing in the evening. We did not have time for the hot tub and fire pit but hope to the next time we visit.»
