«Beautiful location near Volcanoes National Park and Volcano Village. Quiet, rain-forest grounds with fiddleheads, ferns, anthurium on walking path to hot tub. I was traveling with my hula sister and we wanted to watch the Merrie Monarch Festival on TV. The television was old with poor reception. I tried to contact the host through VRBO but couldn't get through. Called the VRBO help line and they cut me off so we watched on my computer instead. Glad I had it with me! Otherwise a pleasant stay.»

«A nice place, but limited check in times. Property a bit remote. . Room a bit damp,,, so had to use dehumidifier (which wasn’t on the hotel description!!!!!). Not high on the list to return to. »

«Very clean and simple room - quite nice. Expect the room to be super humid. There was a small dehumidifier, but it didn’t do much. The best was turning on the heater in the early morning to dry the air when the temp was cool enough. No message before arrival and no phone answer. Host responded to Vrbo messages within minutes though and gave me the information. I reserved the day before, so it could have been last minute. «This is a beautiful, large house designed and constructed in the 1930s for a wealthy Hilo family. The main interiors are dark wood, with original custom bannisters and similar craftsmanship, and the furnishings are period-correct. The present owners have upgraded in various ways, including adding in-room air conditioning (we didn't need, but it was nice to have the option), retrofitted bathrooms, kitchen, wiring, and similar. «Flott, rent og fint leilighetskompleks, med svømmebasseng og utsikt mot havet. Dessverre ingen bar/restaurant ved hotellet, så man må inn til byen for å spise. Stille og rolig området. Flott leilighet med to soverom og to bad, stue og kjøkken. Godt utstyrt»

«Leilighetsanlegg litt utenfor Kona sentrum. Store rom med alle fasiliteter; kjøkken, oppvaskmaskin, vaskemaskin, tørketrommel. Stor terrasse, og flott utsikt til sjøen. Parkering i underetasjen. Hvis en ønsker nye håndklær daglig samt fjerning av avfall, er det mot ekstra betaling som kan bestilles ved ankomst. Men ikke noe problem å vaske håndklærne selv, siden det var vaskemaskin i leiligheten. 1 familiebasseng og et "voksen" basseng på området. Vi prøvde kun det "voksne" bassenget, dette var ...
