«Dragonfly Ranch is surrounded by green and the song of frogs and birds. I stayed in a room with a delightful view of trees then ocean. Dragonfly is only about a 6 minute drive from a great beach for snorkeling and swimming - Two Step, right next to the Pu'uhonua o Honoaunau (Place of Refuge), which is well worth a visit. Staff was attentive, friendly and helpful. I look forward to visiting again in the future.»

«We stayed in the cottage and it was exceedingly charming and comfortable. Staff were truly kind and gracious, and we had two great meals at the main restaurant. The nature trail on the property was a nice bonus. Great location near the national park and close to other restaurants, too. Staying at the Kilauea Lodge was the highlight of our trip.»

«The three of us were very comfortable in suite 1 with the little twin window bed. The sound of the ocean drowned out the songs of the coqui frogs. It was a great location to see the sights on the Hilo side. The breakfast was amazing: fresh fruit, French toast or coconut pancakes, eggs to order, and juice. They have a little cabinet with first aid items and extra sunscreen.The hosts were caring and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend this place!!!»

«If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP. »

«My husband and I stayed there for four nights and we had the most wonderful time there. Every morning was a different type of fresh cut fruit, mostly grown in the property and home bake goods. It was delicious! The room was small but comfortable and was exactly what we were looking for. The property and location was great too. It was a 10 minutes walk to rainbow falls and 5 minutes drive to downtown Hilo. »

«The view was great. The room was large. I was a little disappointed that the owner did not let me know that breakfast was not included with the lower level room. She said it was because the lower room had a kitchen, but I was not made aware of this until after I arrived. »

«A fantastic place to stay! We found this place on the day that Kona airport closed due to a runway crack. Diana is a great host. We arrived there almost midnight, Diana waited for us and helped us get settled in. Next morning, we woke up to an amazing sea view. Diana showed us around and gave us a very thorough guide to nearby scenic spots. It is very close to the best snorkeling spot on the Big Island. «Flott, rent og fint leilighetskompleks, med svømmebasseng og utsikt mot havet. Dessverre ingen bar/restaurant ved hotellet, så man må inn til byen for å spise. Stille og rolig området. Flott leilighet med to soverom og to bad, stue og kjøkken. Godt utstyrt»

«Leilighetsanlegg litt utenfor Kona sentrum. Store rom med alle fasiliteter; kjøkken, oppvaskmaskin, vaskemaskin, tørketrommel. Stor terrasse, og flott utsikt til sjøen. Parkering i underetasjen. Hvis en ønsker nye håndklær daglig samt fjerning av avfall, er det mot ekstra betaling som kan bestilles ved ankomst. Men ikke noe problem å vaske håndklærne selv, siden det var vaskemaskin i leiligheten. 1 familiebasseng og et "voksen" basseng på området. Vi prøvde kun det "voksne" bassenget, dette var ...
