The hotel is neither directly at the airport nor in the center of Zurich, but either destination is reached easily and quickly, with a bus station almost in front of the hotel and train to Zurich just three minutes away. Also, there are a few restaurants and stores nearby. Thus, a practical location -- except for the traffic noise on the eastern side and the nearby runway on the opposite side. Fortunately, the windows are reasonably sound-proof and the ventilation system is effective. The rooms are quite spacious, with an excellent bed, a good desk plus a comfortable chair, two armchairs and a bathroom with bathtub and shower. In the refrigerator, we found four free (!) drinks. We slept too well to get to taste the breakfast (not included). The lounge is on the dark side in winter but offers sofas, café tables, a table-soccer game ... and two live rabbits. The front desk is staffed only from the afternoon to the evening. Some of the staff were reasonably, others very friendly and helpful. There was nothing to complain about the cleanliness. We had to change room, however, because the drain in the sink seemed to be clogged (it was not, as I learnt later, but it is of a rather unusual and non-intuitive type). The second room we got was larger and quieter but in serious need of maintenance, especially in the bathroom. Considering the hotel prices in the Zurich area, this is a very good deal if one can sleep with closed windows or tolerate the noise.

Rimelig hotell lett tilgjengelig fra flyplass
Fint hotell med gode senger og bra frokost. God service fra frokostpersonalet. Litt lite lys på badet og flystøy, men med vinduet igjen gikk det helt fint! Rimelig i forhold til sentrum.

Für 4 Sterne , mehr erwartet ! Es war nicht sauber Zimmer leicht ramponiert und nicht gut geputzt das Bad war schon grenzwertig und im Speisesaal würde man sich wohler fühlen wenn man durch saubere Fenster schauen könnte und die Vorhänge nicht teilweise abgerissen wären Das Frühstück war durchaus gut bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten und das Personal sehr freund hilfsbereit.

Danke erstmal für Ihre Buchung. Dieses Hotel hate keine Sterne da Dormero Hotels nicht mit dem Sterne system arbeitet. Bei der sauberkeit das geht natürlich nicht da werde ich mit dem Housekeeping nochmal nachfragen

Rooms are very comfortable and the front desk staff is very helpful. Great place to stay and right next to the airport, like a 7 minute bus ride!

Check in and out were both easy and stress free. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms offered everything we needed for our two night stay. Can recommend this hotel.

Amazing but no shuttles
The Hotel and the service at the hotel were amazing! The check-in was outstanding they helped, very fast and serviceable and with a smile. With bathtub, the TV channels were fine (not enough channels in English from my point of view) But take into account that they don't have any free shuttles from/to the airport, it can cost 17-25 euro each way.

Proche de l’aéroport et très bien desservi par les transports, cet hôtel est stratégique pour un séjour avant de prendre un vol d’avion. Très bien situé dans l’agglomération on peut rejoindre Zurich en 10 minutes avec les transports publics. Bon petit déjeuner et infrastructures propres.

Ich war bereits einige Male im Dormero. Es ist ein sehr gutes, unkompliziertes Hotel, das sich sehr gut eignet, wenn man Abends spät vom Flughafen ankommt oder am nächsten Tag früh los muss. Die Betten sind ein großer Pluspunkt. Die Klimatisierung kapiere ich allerdings nicht, egal was ich drücke, es bleibt tendenziell immer zu warm. 😉
