Topp beliggenhet
Litt lite rom (men stort nok til en person) og kun en liten pose med shampoo om dagen. Bortsett fra det var det rent og pent, god service og god beliggenhet. Ville ha bodd her igjen.

Enkelt hotell med hyggelig betjening.
Alle enkeltrom vender mot en trang sjakt med mye støy fra airconditionanlegget. Mao en noe klaustrofobisk følelse og ikke noe utsikt mot byen som annonsert. Betjeningen veldig hyggelig og imøtekommende. Beliggenheten veldig bra. OK frokost. Over 500 m til parkeringshuset hotellet har avtale med.

Central and nice hotel
Nice rooms, quite comfortable, small but not too small. Okay breakfast, a bit warm in the room but wasn't too bad, luckily. Very central and good location.

Sentralt, helt ok
Hotellet ligger sentralt til i gamlebyen. DDet var mye støy fra trafikk. Når vi var der var det 35 c, uten air condition på rommet var det nesten ulevelig- og dertil lite mulighet for søvn. En liten bråkete vifte hjalp lite på mulighet for søvn i den sammenheng. Vi overhørte flere av gjestene som skulle ha hatt air condition på rommet klage da dette ikke fungerte. En av gjestene sjekket ut og til et annet hotell pga. dette mens vi var der.

Meget bra beliggenhet
Hotellet ligger meget bra til med kort vei til alt.Rommet vi fikk var lite med kun et vindu slik at utlufting var vanskelig. Kun en liten vifte som ga mye lyd fra seg. AC er et must på dette rommet, ihvertfall i sommersesongen.God, enkel frokost, hyggelig betjening med resepsjon via en luke mellom gang og en bar.

Very basic hotel, but clean. Small room and bathroom. Bed was low to the ground, which seems unusual. Breakfast was of good quality, with a variety of choices. Best part of this hotel was its location, very central, close to most relevant sights. I have mixed feelings about this hotel, but i know I would not return to it if I had a choice. At the same time, it’s affordable and does serve the basic needs of tourists.

This quaint and charming hotel is very clean and quiet. Its location is also in a prime spot in old town. The staff was very gracious and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and fresh. I would highly recommended this hotel as a convenient and quality option for travels in Zurich.

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. My daughter and I absolutely loved it. Our room was perfect, the staff we met were the kindest and made our stay extra special. We will definitely stay here again the next time we travel to Zurich.

The hotel is on a pedestrian street which is part of a very old portion of the town. The hotel staff was amazing and very helpful. The staff spoke English very well. Parking is available at a parking garage just outside the pedestrial area. It was easy.... and our room was great! The room had a rooftop deck.

We loved our stay at Altstadt Hotel. Check in/out were seamless and the staff all friendly and professional. Our double (Classic) room was spacious and bright with a nice sized bathroom with bath tub and in-built shower. The luggage rack and two chairs in the room were very useful. Most hotels of this category only offer 1 chair and maybe a rack. All the windows were able to open for fresh air. The beds were soft but comfortable. There was also a heater which you could turn up or down as desired. The location of the hotel was brilliant and walking distance from most of the sights and also the central train station although I would recommend catching a tram (tram 4 with stop one minute from hotel) or taxi to save the wheels on your suitcase. The area is mostly bumpy cobbled streets. Ticket machines are at the tram stops and take bank cards as well as cash. The pleasant cafe on the ground floor of the hotel offers cakes, soup and toasted sandwiches depending on the time of day. The only thing which could be improved in this hotel is the breakfast which was disappointingly basic during our week stay. Either musli with joghurt, or bread with ham/cheese. Fruit was also available. The only hot items on offer were boiled eggs which were steamed on arrival to the breakfast room. However, apart from that, we would consider this hotel again if we return to Zurich and definitely recommend it as a good place to stay in the centre of Zurich.

This is a cute hotel in Old Town Zurich, which is very easy to get to from the main train station in Zurich if you are coming from another city in Switzerland or a neighboring country. It's alongside a river full of swans and there are stores and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel is clean and the staff seems to genuinely care about helping their guests have a great stay. Would go back!

Very nice location , just walkin distance to important land marks. Staff were extremely nice and helpful , room is comfortable , bed is nice , slept well for our overnight stay . I highly recommend!

I travelled with ny family if 4 this past new tear day. The location is great and walkable to the old town attractions. Check in and check out were very easy and both persons at the desk/ barista were very friendly and we were able to get late checkout even though the hotel was at capacity. . The buffet breakfast was lovely, sliced meats and cheese fruit, bread and fresh and variety if coffees. Highly recommend for a quick trip to Zurich

Hôtel très bien situé. Nous avons eu une chambre avec vue sur les deux tours du Grossmünster ! La chambre est cependant petite avec un matelas assez basique. Le petit déjeuner est également assez light. Le personnel est extrêmement sympathique, avenant et parle Français.

Small Hotel with Good Location
This is a small hotel with good location less than 100m away from the beginning of the Limmat river which flow out from Lake Zurich. We are able to walk to the old town attractions nearby including the bustling x'mas markets. We are a family of 5 and the size of the 2 rooms we had were ok and not exceptional. The were no telephones in the room so we cannot call and talk to our children. Telephone should be a standard item in the hotel room. The rooms and sheets were clean but the mattresses were hard and the pillows were small and soft. If the hotel improves on these, then the sleep could be better. There were noises into the night from the street below and were annoying. Service at the front desk was good although it doubles as a cashier point for the small restaurant on the ground floor. The space at the service desk in front of it is small and we have to haul our luggage up the flight of steps into the small lift. A ramp could instead be provided.

It was my husband and my first time in Zurich and we honestly couldn't have picked a more convenient and comfortable hotel! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with information on what we should do in Zurich and good restaurant recommendations. We were so happy with our room as we got the roof top terrace. The view was breathtaking!

Great hotel in Zurich
We loved our stay here in Zurich. The location is fantastic, especially for walking to Christmas markets in the area. Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and comfortable beds! The only constructive criticism it to offer 2 pillows per person as they were quite soft, at least for me.

The additional bed for my son was bad causing extreme neck pain after my son slept for 2 nights. Poor and inadequate lighting. Room too small for the price. No value for your money!!!!!!
