Overall its a nice well maintained property. It's clean and well positioned. The breakfast options were really good. However i had a concern on the quality of the mattress as one side of the bed was not comfortable and I even got back ache because the bedding was sinking in.

I stayed 5 nights, was first time in Chandigarh. Hotel is very nice, didn’t have very good experience. Staff definitely needs to be TRAINED well.

They gave us a stinking smoking room. Smelt horrible. The housekeeping guy sprayed air-freshener couple of times but the smell didn’t go away. Also the main door to the room was creaky and brushing to the floor making it noisy and hard to open. The lone elevator seemed like a service elevator used by staff ferrying supplies to the terrace for an event. Had to wait for 3 rounds to get into the smelly elevator. We were told we could use the rooftop pool. However when we did reach the pool, they said we couldn’t use it as it was being cordoned off for a wedding later in the day. Overall an unpleasant experience

The staff was poor , they took 25 minutes to checkin and every evening when we returned to hotel our key won’t work. They had to take 20 minutes to sort while we wait outside room. I asked manager to call she has at called me yet to discuss the issue.

The rooms are old and dilapidated. cables were hanging out of electric panels in bathroom. Dustbin not opening, Lift seems ancient. Approach to room through banquet and using old lift. TV was not working in the room. Regarding housekeeping, only 1 towel in the room, no Tissue box. Excessively long waiting time for check in. Even though, my room was paid in full in adavnce, still booked another hotel and shifted. Preferred to lose money rather than staying there.

Disappointing! No reply from Hotel for lost items
Booked this particular hotel as it was close to the airport and we just needed to stay 1 night on our trip back from Himachal. On the day of checkout I left my powered spectacles in the room by mistake. Someone from hotel called to inform me but I was already at the airport boarding my flight. Once I reached my city, I tried calling the hotel back but have not found my lost pair of glasses. It has been 5days and I have called the hotel back everyday but they are unable to locate the glasses and have taken no initiative to call back and inform me of the status. Everyday a different person answers the call and there is absolutely no ownership on the part of the staff. Looks like I will have to make a new pair of prescription glasses as there is absolutely no response from the Ramada Plaza hotel.

For a business traveller, they gave me only one wi-fi key which did not work and they had to keep coming up and logging me in. The place is run-down and dated, and the mattress was the worst I have ever slept on. The hotel forgot to put bath towels in the room, and when they did the white towels were grey and smelling of bleach to try and whiten them. The service is very average, the food is passe' and the place needs to be fixed up to justify its stars!
