Nothing was right or acceptable. I even made a formal complaint to Best Western directly and received no response back whatsoever. Upon arriving I was given a lot of disappointing information. 1) The elevator was not working. 2) A SERIOUS SECURITY ISSUE- The key machine was not working- meaning I had no key to my own room and had to be let in directly by a desk clerk. If I had left just to get ice or anything I would have had to prop the door open with the door latch in order to not lock myself out. As a woman traveling alone I chose not to leave the room period once I was in it. 3) Room was unkempt. Dirty fridge, microwave, food on walls, stains on sheets, only a partial roll of toilet paper in room with no extra roll available had I needed it which thankfully I didn’t. Also, I was not made aware that I was not going to have a tub. Had a walk in stand in shower instead. All in all definitely was expecting a prompt response from the Best Western by email addressing my concerns and issues I had to unexpectedly deal with. No such communication so far and it’s almost been a week since my stay. Must say I was dissatisfied and extremely put off by the lack of info when I booked the room and lack of effort to reach out to me in regard to my complaints.
