The bathroom features a natural-stone washbasin and a bathtub with integrated shower.
A special highlight is the apartment’s two private balconies. The south-facing balcony offers a beautiful, unobstructed view of the Matterhorn and the garden – perfect for your morning coffee or a relaxing evening. The west-facing balcony provides an additional panoramic view of the surrounding mountains.

About Haus Vira
Haus Vira enjoys a peaceful, slightly elevated location in the sunny southern part of Zermatt, in the Winkelmatten/Obere Tuftra area. Surrounded by meadows, forest and a beautifully maintained garden, it offers peace and nature together with an unobstructed panoramic view of the majestic Matterhorn in all its grandeur.
Hiking trails lead directly from the house into the Zermatt mountains, including routes towards Schwarzsee, Findeln and Gornergrat. In winter, the location is particularly convenient: when snow conditions permit, you can ski back from Gornergrat or Schwarzsee to within approximately 30 metres of the house. The ski run leading towards the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise valley station is only about 100 metres away on foot.
The bus stop is approximately 200 metres away, and several restaurants in Winkelmatten and Tuftra are within easy walking distance. Haus Vira has a lift, and complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the apartment.
As the owner family, we place great importance on personal hospitality. Whenever possible, we welcome you personally on arrival. If we are unable to be there, your key will be safely and conveniently available in a key box.
