«Me and my partner missed the shinkansen and the bus that was going to take us to the hotel, so we got even more behind our schedule of our check-in time. We told the staff beforehand and apologized, they were extremely understanding of our situation. When we got there, we were welcomed with warm smiles and helpful information of our accomodation and they even gave us some snacks after our long travel. »

«Tradisjonell onsen-opplevelse i et relativt moderne hotell.

«The hotel was gorgeous, it gave you that really comforting feeling especially after a full day of walking. We booked the private spa due to having tattoos it was magnificent, definitely book the half board the staff for dinner and breakfast were amazing! I absolutely loved the restaurant ladies they were such welcoming people and loved to feed us. Thank you all for such an amazing experience»

«Super location and quiet room with real Japanese style bed on floor. Practical for trips into town or further since bus stops are right beside the building. Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. If I visit Kyoto again I would love to stay here again.»

«Upon entering through the sliding glass doors you are transported back hundreds of years to a time long past, as you are greeted with a meticulously detailed reception area, and the kindest and most accomodating staff I have ever had the pleasure to interact with. While checking in we were informed of all relevant houserules, before being lead to our wonderfully decorated room. From the full-room shower to the soft and inviting futons, everything was to our liking. The breakfast the following ...
