We’re thrilled you are considering Flag Ranch for your desert getaway. There are so many options out here, but you can trust us when we say: you found a gem! Quick story...before owning it, we actually spent a weekend at Flag Ranch. It was a few months into dating, and it was a very special trip (if you scroll way back thru the reviews, you’ll find ours from Valentine’s Day 2020). We visited Gubler Orchid Farms and Giant Rock, ate at Joshua Tree Saloon and Pappy & Harriets, and made it into the park for a sunset hike. Flag Ranch was just a short drive to everything we wanted to do, and was the perfect spot to return to afterward. We cooked a romantic dinner, enjoyed jaw-dropping sunsets, bundled up around the firepit, and stargazed from the hot tub. 4 years later we got married; 1 year after that this property went up for sale. We jumped at the opportunity to steward the next era of Flag Ranch so that couples, friends, families, and travelers of all kinds could continue to discover its magic. We’ve loved making it our own and renewing our deep connection to the desert – back where our love story began :)

The property is yours to roam and relax, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.



Getting Around:

We recommend traveling by car to explore Joshua Tree for maximum flexibility, as ride sharing services are unreliable. If you prefer not to drive, the local taxi service Lucky 777 is a dependable option. Our property offers free parking for up to four vehicles to ensure your car is kept secure during your stay.



Other Things to Note:

⟡ MANAGEMENT: Flag Ranch is professionally managed by Hi-Desert Dwellings.



⟡ CLEANING FEE: 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners. As the top professional

management company in the area, we have always maintained exceptional cleaning standards

and have been able to keep our rates low while still paying a living wage.



⟡ PETS: We love animals, but this property is only suitable for up to 2 dogs. Pet fee: $50 each.

Local ordinance states that dogs must be leashed or kept in an enclosed area on the property at

all times to keep them safe from desert predators (coyotes, hawks, vultures, and owls to name a

few).



⟡ ACCESS: The roads to the property are all paved except for the last 200 feet, which are on a

maintained dirt road. Please make sure to follow our directions to avoid any issues.



⟡ A/C + HEAT: Mini splits in each room will keep you comfortable year round.



⟡ BEDROOM FIREPLACE: The wood stove is not operable and does not work. It cannot be

used.



⟡ FIRE: Due to the current local fire ban, there is a strict no outside wood-burning fire policy. If it

is discovered that you have started an outdoor wooden fire in a firepit, used fireworks, or

created an open fire of any kind your rental agreement will be terminated and you will be asked

to leave. FIre extinguisher is located under the kitchen sink.



⟡ WASHER/DRYER: The laundry room is available to guests that are staying with us for an

extended period of 3 or more days, or those traveling with an infant or young children.



⟡ HOT TUB (LEGAL): Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge

Host and Host's employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities

or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest's household or guest's guests or

invitees may have at any time against Host or Host's agents resulting from guest's use of the

pool and spa.



⟡ GUESTS: You are not permitted to have any day or overnight guests on the property beyond

those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us.

By renting this property, guest acknowledges that they have read, understand and accept the

terms listed above for use of the pool, spa and guest policy.

We like to respect our guest’s privacy, so you won’t see too much of us - unless you need us to come by.
