We call it Urban Paradise- spacious home in Ypsilanti with lots of outdoor fun.

Older, remodeled home, blocks from Eastern Michigan University, 1 mile from center of Ypsilanti, 2 blocks from bus to Ann Arbor. Come for an event, enjoy the outdoor tiki bar, putting green, foosball, fire pits and outdoor shower during your stay.
Set in the perfect location for all that is happening in Ann Arbor or Ypsi, the house provides a great place for families or friends to gather. The spacious back yard invites all to dine al frescoe, practice putting, warm up near the firepits on chilly evenings, or compete in a friendly game of foosball. The tiki bar offers a great place to enjoy beverages and unwind.
Ypsilanti boosts great eateries, from the top end Bellflower to dozens of diverse and delightful taverns and restaurants. The surrounding area offers places to enjoy pure Michigan, including golf, kayaking, tubing, hiking, cross country skiing and ice skating.
Sleeping info:
6 bedrooms include 5 queen beds and 1 king.
One room has a double bunk bed. One has a triple. 4 of the beds in the bunks are useable for adults.
The bedroom with the king bed also has a youth bed which is not suitable for adults.
There are two large sofas in the living room which we use for adults when the whole family is here. They are not pull out beds. Bedding for the sofas is stored in a trunk in the same room.
The bedroom in the basement has a queen bed. It also has a play area. Two cots and bedding for kids are available to use there if needed.
There is daycare bed and 2 pack and plays available for infants and toddlers. Please let us know if you will need them. Otherwise they are stored in an area unavailable to renters.

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect for multiple families with younger kids (ages 3-9). There were so many things to keep the kids busy and places where we could all relax and enjoy ourselves. An easy 15 minute ride to Ann Arbor- we had a great stay and Go Blue!

Our family of 9 adults and 7 grandchildren spent 5 days here. None of us wanted to go home! The house more than satisfied our needs and was immaculate. The grandkids loved the finished basement room filled with toys. Everyone spent a lot of time enjoying the spacious backyard, complete with mini golf, foosball and even a tiki bar!

Excellent Home for a big group

We absolutely loved: the yard, available infant items, the distance to DTW (Detroit-Wayne airport), how very well stocked everything was, communication with the owner, and easy check in/check out process. I would have left five stars if it weren't for these 2 items: 1) the upstairs was hard to cool off even with A/C and the provided fans (ceiling fans would be a great addition!); 2) there wasn't a washer/dryer available (looking back, the description never indicated they would be; we assumed they would be due to other pervious stays).

Family Celebration

Home was perfect and met all our needs - and then some! Yard was configured with games and outdoor seating allowing for relaxation and convenience. Home was full of comforts and all the conveniences of home - owners thought of everything.

Cousins weekend

Cousins and two aunts got together in this beautiful home to connect and have fun. We had family from Florida, Texas, Michigan, Illinois, Arizona, Virginia, and South Dakota. The accommodations were great-especially the back yard! The updated bathrooms were nice as well and we had no trouble sharing without waiting. We hope to be back next year!

Great stay

We stayed at this property for a friends weekend and it was the perfect place It easily accommodated 15 adults, was as described in the listing, was clean, was very well stocked with all essential appliances and the communication with Mary was easy. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a place with a large group and travelling to Ann Arbor or Detroit

Wonderful host! Communication was stellar - best I have ever had with any rental property. Host willingness to help me with special needs for our disabled elderly Mom was above and beyond! House was PERFECT for 3 generation family gathering: sisters, cousins, grandkids... Lots of room for everyone, many places to be together or divide into smaller groups. Outdoor area had lots of sitting room; tiki bar with TV; shady and sunny areas. Open area had a tirf for mini golf! Kitchen fully stocked with lots of spices and staples". Host made available bigger kitchen appliances upon request (crock pot etc). We had everything we needed. Hosts clean up requirements were very reasonable (unlike some I have had) I would rent. Again in a heartbeat! Perfect rental all the way around!

Family getaway

We loved our stay at this property. It truly lived up to being an urban paradise and every age range enjoyed our time there. The host Mary was so incredibly kind and was so communicative and available with responses for any questions we had. Everything was neat and tidy and it felt home away from home. Nicely maintained property and good hosts

The house was well maintained and beautiful. The hosts communicated everything before hand and no issues. Family and friends really enjoyed this place. We stayed there for a graduation party and it’s a perfect place to all age groups

Fabulous oasis close to Ann Arbor

The property is lovely and has everything you could need. Sleeping arrangements are plentiful and lovely. Back garden is brilliant if you just want to relax or play games!!!! The kitchen living area is so lovely to sit and socialize if you want/need to be inside. Fresh flowers left for our visit plus anything we needed!! Would highly recommend and return if we are in the area again.

Amazing weekend stay

Such a beautiful home. Perfect for a larger group. Spacious, clean, and close to everything. The backyard oasis was a great place to kick up your feet and enjoy your company. Would definitely stay here again!
