Welcome to 'Blue Chatuge', a spacious three-level cabin retreat nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Lake Chatuge. Perfect for families and groups, this home sleeps 12 and features a luxurious hot tub, a wraparound porch with stunning views, and a large game room with a pool table, skee-ball, arcade machines, and more. Enjoy cozy fireplaces, a modern kitchen, and a backyard fire pit. Conveniently located near Hiawassee, hiking trails, and charming mountain towns, it’s the perfect getaway!

Blue Chatuge is a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment, designed to accommodate families and groups across three thoughtfully arranged levels. With fast Wi-Fi throughout the home and a Level 2 EV car charger available for guest use, the cabin combines modern convenience with mountain charm.

Main Floor:
The main level is warm and inviting, featuring a comfortable living room with a gas fireplace and a large TV. The updated kitchen is fully equipped with all essentials, making meal preparation a breeze. The dining area includes a counter-height table for 7, ideal for family meals. This floor also has a spacious king bedroom with a TV and an electric fireplace, as well as a full bathroom. Step out onto the wraparound porch to enjoy your morning coffee with stunning mountain views.

Upper Level:
The open loft upstairs offers a dedicated work desk, family-friendly board games, and a poker table for fun nights in. A full-sized sleeper sofa adds flexibility for sleeping arrangements. The upper-level bedroom includes a king bed, a cozy reading nook, and a private TV, complemented by a full bathroom on the same floor.

Basement Level:
The basement is your go-to entertainment hub, boasting a large game room with a 7' pool table, skee-ball, digital pinball, two arcade machines, and a Bluetooth-enabled jukebox. There’s also bar-height seating for hanging out and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. The basement bedroom features a queen bed with a TV. Across the hall is a full bathroom with a standing shower, and a laundry closet with a washer and dryer.

Outdoor Amenities:
Outside, the fun continues with a luxurious 6-person hot tub, including a lounge seat, and a spacious yard with a park-style charcoal grill. Gather around the fire pit for s’mores under the stars. The wraparound porch is perfect for relaxing with a book or watching the sunrise.

The house is stunning and has the best views of the lake and sunrises. The house is well-equipped with every thing you could possibly need or want. The house is centrally located, so it’s close to everywhere but is still nestled away from the hustle and bustle. We loved it and would definitely stay there again!

We were absolutely in love with this house! From the wrap around porch, the color, the decor to the firepit, everything was perfectly curated to enjoy our trip.The only downside was we could not get the downstairs TV, jukebox and pinball machine to work. Would recommend leaving instructions for the TV.

It was one of our daughter's birthday and she wanted to go to the 'Blue House' at Lake Chatuge. We have been coming to this home for a few years now and the host is incredible and has gone to great lengths to make sure guests have the best experience possible. First off, the entire home is brand new and completely equipped. You will find every appliance, every gadget, pot, pan, glassware, dishes, and cutlery that you could ever need. Not to sound weird, but the microwave oven is an amazing piece of technology and really made me sad to come home to my archaic device. It rained just about the entire time we were up there so we spent our days lazing around, playing board games, setting high scores in the game room, and spending time with one another. The hanging daybed was a favorite spot for my wife and oldest daughter to hang out. The game room is awesome and I spent way too much time playing pinball trying to beat the high score. As a family, we successfully set several high scores and it will be fun to see if they are still standing when we return. Make no mistake, we will return! The lake is close enough to see, easy enough to get to, and far enough away to not have folks watching you. We are Freedom Boat Club members and their marina is right down the street, so it is very convenient for us to pack up and get on a boat for some fun on the lake. In short, book this place, it is one of the best properties we have ever stayed at and you will not be disappointed.

The house was amazing- so clean and cozy. Loved the games downstairs as did my kids. Lots of relaxing by the fireplace watching the deer outside. The owner was very available for any questions too. Definitely will return!!

Very comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and all the area had to offer during our stay for a week. The owners were great to deal with and extremely responsive to any questions we had. The only suggestion I would make to the property owners would be to have extra towels for the guests. We only had one towel per person for a week. Also for anyone wanting to cook meals there at the house, the kitchen has very sparse cooking dishes to prepare the food. We just went to the store and bought 13x9 pans, etc. otherwise very cozy and comfortable home!

Family Vacation

Blue Chatugue was a beautiful cabin and was exactly as portrayed online. It had everything we needed and the game room was a hit with the teenagers. The cabin is in a great location close to many other towns, hiking trails and restaurants. There is plenty to do. The host was very responsive on the one question I had. We would definitely stay there again.

Great property with cool amenities. Pool table/video games kept my teens and young adults entertained and engaged. Lake chatuge is our favorite place to spend time on the water and this location/proximity was perfect to marinas and restaurants.

Great place!!

We loved our cabin house! All the additional amenities were great bonuses! Very clean! Very helpful and responsive owner! Would definitely come back! We hiked to see waterfalls, rented a boat for a day, white water rafting and Carolina crawlers. Most things were close and drove an hour for rafting. And when we stayed at the cabin, we played many games, made use of the hot tub, Dry sauna and fire pit! Thank you!

Another great adventure at the Blue House at Lake Chatuge

It was very nice to be back at the big blue house on Lake Chatuge. The house is very spacious and has three levels, each with a bedroom and full bathroom. In the basement, there is a game room with two arcades, a pool table, and ski ball. Outside the back door you will find a grill and the hot tub with a fire pit in the yard. There is a picnic table and several Adirondak chairs (that are very comfortable). On the main level you have a fully equipped kitchen with just about everything you need to cook any meal. Utensils, gadgets, and appliances aplenty. There is a stone fire place and a wonderful sectional sofa in the living room that is great for naps after spending hours in the sun on the lake. Upstairs you have a gaming table and a cabinet filled with various board games as well as a desk. Everything is in working order, there are 5 large TV’s throughout the house and there is internet, so even though you are away, you can choose to be as connected as you like. My favorite part is the wrap around porch with the rocking chairs and I spent a lot of time there in the evening watching the lightning bugs flash in the trees while my kids played hide and go seek in the back yard. You won’t find a better place and I can’t wait to be back.

Bach Weekend 2023

We had an amazing Bachelor+Bachelorette weekend at this property!! It was very clean, accessible, and close to town and the lake. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and accommodated our wedding party of 9 very comfortably. Would definitely recommend it to other family and friends and hope to come and stay again!

Wonderful Owner and Home

We had some health issues pop up during our stay and the owner went above and beyond with communication and help because of our early departure. Any issues we did have at the beginning of our stay were addressed immediately. Her responsiveness was impeccable. The home is beautiful, well kept, and the kids loved the game room.

Christmas Vacation

We had snow our first night! From making reservation to check out was a great experience. Our entire family enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for 6 of us. We enjoyed game night, hot tub, sauna, playing pool and our dinners together and fire pit as well. There was also things to do close by. We enjoyed hiking, shopping and visiting antique stores and Habersham winery in Helen. Thank you for memories!

Thanksgiving family Vacation

We truly enjoyed our stay. This was our yearly family vacation and we chose this location for many reasons. The listing had many things we were looking for, location was half way for us to meet up. Things to do in the house and around town. The game room was such a plus to keep the kids busy and the fire pit at night was so nice. The house had everything we needed and was cozy and we loved having the space to all be together. The view of the lake and mountains was amazing while on the porch. We had a wonderful week and hope to one day be back. Thank you!

Beautiful location

This house was super amazing from the hot tub, to the arcade and games and the location. It's really the total package having everything you need inside you dont have to leave the house. Our family was all amazed with the house. I like having a room and bathroom in each floor to feel close but separate. This house is 2 hrs from chatenooga or 40 mins to Helen. I enjoyed staying in this house and my daughter didn't want to leave!

Beautiful, Cozy and Cumfortable

We booked this home as a "home away from home" while we visited family from the Hiawassee area. This home was absolutely perfect for all 7 of us. There are three very spacious bedrooms with very comfortable beds and very homey decor. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, two of the bedrooms are on suites. The basement bedroom has a bathroom directly across the hall. I use the term basement loosely. This is where the large entertainment space, laundry and door to the hot tub are. Never mind that we didn't even know that there was a sauna on the property. Our family was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked this house was to cater to all of our needs. We spent our days cooking, playing pool, ski ball, board games, chilling on the porch looking out to the mountains and lake, relaxing in the hot tub and our evenings by the fireplace watching movies and snuggling with the kids. The living room was so cozy, with the most comfortable couch. The only negative I have for this home is that I couldn't stay longer. The host was very quick to respond to our questions. We will be back!
