Warm, modern, beautifully renovated 4 bed/2 bath happy-place in Yarmouth Port, central Cape Cod’s cutest historic village.

MAIN FLOOR

The main floor of our homey Cape cottage consists of an open living room/kitchen, two bedrooms, and one full bathroom.

The living room is centered by a brand new extra comfy couch + a 65” Roku 4k TV. We have Netflix and Sling subscriptions all set up for you, you won’t even need to sign in :) The media console under the TV holds a treasure chest of board games & card games to keep the whole family entertained, as well as a PS5 (Parents - Let me know if you want us to hide this, we have heard that request before!).

In the kitchen, you’ll find a full assortment of cookware, along with spices, staple ingredients, & everything you need to whip up a home-cooked meal. Help yourself to snacks and local coffee from Mary Lou’s & Cape Cod Coffee (who happens to have fantastic pizza). Everything is brand new - Fridge, stove, toaster, coffee maker, & blender included.

In our two main floor bedrooms, you will find peace and serenity to unwind from work, enjoy quality time with the family, or read a good book in your own personal reading nook. The room on the left comes with a 55” Roku 4k TV for those who prefer sports or Tarantino to Hemingway. There are 2 high chairs and 2 pack and plays in the closet if you have toddlers, as well as a baby gate you can easily set up for the stairs. Both rooms have Queen memory foam mattresses, and they are incredibly comfortable.

Between the kitchen and bedrooms, you will find our first full bath. Let us know what you think of the whales.


SECOND FLOOR

On the second floor, you will find the master bedroom, another full bath (no whales this time), and a 4th bedroom equally well-suited for adults, teens, or young ones.

The master bedroom comes equipped with a Queen memory foam mattress and a corner-mounted 50” Roku 4k TV (not yet shown in pictures), as well as an oversized lounge chair and a desk setup (we do have max speed wifi throughout the house, in case you need it). There is something grand feeling about this room; We absolutely love it and hope you will too.

Between the master and the fourth bedroom is our second full bath.

Last, but not least, the final bedroom contains a Full over Full bunk bed as well as a separate Full bed with a Twin trundle. This room is perfect for kids, or friends of all ages who want to stay up late cracking jokes and keeping each other company.


OUTDOOR SPACE

The spacious backyard has an outdoor dining table that seats 10, along with a separate lounge area built around a firepit. Enjoy our outdoor shower to wash off after days at the beach, and show off your grillmaster skills with our massive six-burner propane grill.

Perfect!!

Family event Friday and Saturday. Would have liked to use outdoor fire pit, but rain prevailed. All rooms were just right. Any and all house needs, towels. Kitchen tools, etc were there. Host great.

make sure you double check for your items

I will give you the pros and cons of this place. Antonio is very responsive. The home is well-stocked and has everything you need. The downsides are the road. Also, across the street are commercial vehicles which start up in the morning around 730 so this is a little annoying. We did leave a cooler at the home with new food. Antonio didn't think much of this and never got back on how to manage what we left. I would warn if you stay here to be very careful about what you may leave here. It may be gone for good. Just be careful and double check.

Absolutely perfect!

This house was such a wonderful option for my family. Even with 4 kids, we had plenty of space and amenities. The bunk room is PERFECT. Our stay was short, but we really enjoyed everything, especially all of the details like oversized beach towels, local coffee stocked in the kitchen, kid sized plates, the outdoor shower and fire pit… no stones were left unturned by our very gracious and communicative hosts. The location is also in a convenient but quiet part of the Cape. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat!

Amazing stay! Highly recommend

My husband and I stayed with our 10 month old, mothers, and brother in law and dogs and we had the best time! The home had everything we needed and more! It was super family friendly down to even having bottle soap. We enjoyed dinner outside and many trips to Mayflower beach. The hosts were so helpful and communicative. Thank you so so so much for making our first vacation as a family super special!

Comfortable, Clean and Great Location

My family of four and our dog Halo had a fabulous time here. The location is so convenient and just a short drive to some of the best beaches! The home was clean, cozy, private and has a great private patio area in the back. The owners are great at communicating and make the house as comfortable as possible. We will definitely rent here again.

You’ll be Happy on Cape!

We stayed at Happy on Cape for five days on the tail end of Hurricane Lee. And we can tell you: Happy on Cape is one tight little ship. Solid from floor to ceilings, she harbored our seven adults, two little ones, and spirited puppy comfortably for five days and nights in all kinds of weather. As much fun as we had each day - from a family wedding in Harwichport and a beautiful full beach day at nearby Mayflower Beach to craft brews on the water for sunset at Treehouse Sandwich and fine family dining at Matakeese Wharf - we always looked forward to returning to HOC’s tastefully decided open concept living space, spacious bedrooms, including double bunks for grown-ups who enjoy napping with little ones, giant Roku TVs, and awesome showers, indoors and out - puppy Augie came home to Boston smelling like a rose! The outdoor space is meticulously kept, and the fenced backyard features not only a six burner grill and fire pit, but an open air dining room for family feasts. Get your fresh seafood from nearby Peterman’s -we got the sweetest littlenecks for linguine and clams - and don’t bother bringin high hairs - they’re already there. In fact, most anything you’ll need for the kitchen (utensils/spices/coffee) the beach, (beach chairs and umbrellas) the yard (yard toys/party light) and living room (pillows/board games/easy reading) is already there waiting for you. And Tony and Meredith are the most gracious hosts you’ll ever find: attentive, generous, and anxious to insure you

Relaxing & Fun Getaway to the Cape

Our family of 4 and dog had a great visit! The house is clean, comfortable, and so nicely decorated - it had everything we needed AND MORE! We appreciated the extremely comfortable beds and the extra space we saved by not having to bring linens, etc! House location was perfect - a short ride great beaches, restaurants and the bike path. The backyard has a nice patio with a large table and outdoor sitting area with BBQ and fire table. It was a great a place to hang out - with a nice and clean outdoor shower too. Begrudgingly, we did have to dig into the game cabinet during some rain, but there were good games & even our teens had fun with their old parents :) Thank you Antonio - we enjoyed our relaxing and fun getaway to the Cape!

One of the best VRBO experiences

To start, the owners were the best at communicating and helping us out with some unique circumstances. The location was quiet yet convenient. The house itself was immaculate! So clean, so well stocked, cute touches and so much care put into everything. Beds were so comfortable and towels soft and fluffy. Great time for the 4th

We had a great stay! There was 10 of us and from check in to check out the process was very easy. The home was very comfortable and had everything you could need. From board games to pots and pans I don’t think we’ve stayed at a home that made it truly feel like a home. Yard was great for backyard games and the dogs loved playing fetch back there. Easy ride to the beaches and bars. Plenty of space for parking. We received quick responses to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent property and location.

The property looks and feels brand new after the recent renovation! The house is stocked with everything you need from toiletries to cleaning products to kitchen appliances. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO properties over the years, and I can't think of one where the owners had put as much time and thought into the layout and amenities. Additionally, communication with the hosts was super friendly, quick and painless. We will definitely be looking to stay with Tony again.
