Wrens nest sisters getaway

Comfortable, clean, well stocked and spacious. Great getaway for us sisters. Disappointed at no beach access, as advertized. However the office was responsive and gave us easy options. Check out would be better w/out towels needing to be in the dryer prior to leaving.

Would stay here again and again!

Love the location of this property. We’ve stayed here more than once. Close access to a long section of sandy beach; close to crabbing and Pacific Sourdough Bakery in Waldport, yet also well situated to enjoy Cape Perpetua and agate hunting south of Yachats. Great layout for families, and generally well-stocked. My only suggestion would be to install a shampoo/conditioner/soap dispenser in each shower for guests.

Perfect long weekend getaway

The house was perfect for our family with 4 kids ages 1-16. Kitchen had everything we needed, the furniture and beds were all very comfortable, and everything was cleaned and well-maintained. Our little kids loved the big cabinet of toys! We asked about a pack and play and didn’t hear back so brought our own, but saw there was one in the closet. The house is just steps from the beach, which has easy access with some stairs. The location is secluded and quiet, which is just what we were looking for. Our only “complaint” is that there was no hatchet or lighter for starting a fire in the fire pit, but we picked one up. Otherwise, excellent stay and would love to return!

Our 2nd Time at Wrens Nest

We stayed at Wrens Nest 2 years ago and absolutely loved it! We were so happy to return again this June, just as beautiful, comfortable, & homey as it was the first time. We prepared all of our own meals during the week in a kitchen that has pretty much everything you could need. We were cozy in our beds with the fresh ocean breeze coming thru the windows & lulled to sleep every night by the sounds of the surf. It is an easy access down to the beach where we enjoyed walking several times a day. And, on 2 nights we were able to view amazing sunsets from the bluff just above the beach. This is a great vacation rental house and we truly appreciate how clean everything is and all the details that make it comfortable. Wish we could have stayed longer!

A Lovely Long Weekend

We were pleasantly surprised by how much bigger this was than the pictures made it out to be. The house is clean and has all the amenities we needed. It is located in a nice quiet neighborhood with easy beach access. If we’re ever back in the area we’ll definitely stay again.

Comfortable and Clean

House had everything we needed to enjoy our family vacation, including lots of toys for the kids! We borrowed the sand toys and played at Agate Beach and Washburne Park, the ocean was very angry while we were there so trying to find accessible beach was a challenge. The beach access at the house is sketchy and we didn’t try it due to little ones. Open the windows in the master at night and you will be warm under fluffy duvet and fall asleep to soothing waves. Thanks for the wonderful home away from home!

Easy Beach Access

The home was immaculate and provided enough space for 4 adults and 1 child. All bed and bath linens were of a nice quality. There is a small market in Yachats, but it's probably best to make a stop in Florence to do your grocery shopping. The home is not oceanfront, but there are some ocean peek-a-views from some windows. The beach is a very short walk from the home.

Great relaxing time.

What a great place to stay! Attention to detail was amazing. It was a very easy walk to the beach and we found many great shells as keepsakes. It was a great way to reconnect with our adult children. The only thing I would change is the lockbox. It seemed almost impossible to get into.

Beautiful Beach Retreat!!!

Lovely, spacious house furnished & equipped with everything we needed to enjoy a week's stay at the beach, including all that's necessary to prepare meals. Beds were quite comfy as we were lulled to sleep by the sounds of the surf. Plenty of room for 5-6 adults. The master bedroom suite, located upstairs, is especially nice, and quite private. It even has it's own little covered deck where you can enjoy a morning cup of coffee/tea or an evening glass of wine as you watch the sunset. There is a view of the ocean from upstairs if you don't mind looking through the trees & over the roofs of neighbouring homes. The beach access is very close and easily accessible. The outdoor deck has a picnic table & gas grill, which we didn't use this time because the weather was quite foggy & cool for nearly the whole week. We hope to stay here again , especially sometime when the weather is warmer!

Wonderful Stay

This is a lovely and clean modern home with very comfy beds, lots of special touches, and tons of different spaces to relax. The proximity to the beach is perfect, and the out-of-the-hustle but close-enough to town location was spot-on. Somebody loves their label maker and the result is a kitchen that is easy to navigate and light-switches that you get right every time! Cannot say enough good things about this home - it is perfection and we very much hope to return!

The experience was really good , such a quiet place to relax and enjoy nature

The house is cozy surrounded by green vegetation , something we especially love , the master bed very comfortable , love the extra space upstairs , especially when you have teen kids , what I didn’t like is the poor of light in the kitchen . Few steps to the beach . Not a lot of houses in the neighborhood that I love , we love our staying there .

This is a beautiful and comfortable home that we enjoyed very much. Beach views are minimal, but the beach was extremely close. King bed was a little to soft for us and the twin beds might work for children, but are to worn for adults. We would rent again!

Good communication and we loved the location

The property manager was great, the location was great. The is is very warmly decorated. The only concern we had is there seems to be mold/mildew issue. The home has a new side and old side and there seems to be water damage, there are some visible water spots on the ceiling on the old side and there is a very musty smell coming from the old side. We had some of our party that set off asthma.

Almost perfect

The Wren's Nest was modern, pristine, uncluttered, and open. We appreciated the different eating and sitting areas, the kid's toys, the tasteful decor, and the openess of the kitchen that accommodated lots of cooks. It was nice to have a sandy beach. Suggestions include putting back the kids' kitchen and installing a railing on the front steps. We will absolutely be coming back here.

Wow, this property is just as listed and then some! The home is well maintained and updated, it was perfectly stocked for our recent 3 night stay with my husband, 2 children (ages 7&9), and inlaws. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Yachats!

AWESOME GETAWAY ON THE BEACH

Just returned from a terrific 9 day vacation at Wren's Nest! 5 Star accommodations on the Oregon coast. Cottage was neat and clean, with all amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Great location to enjoy all activities the Oregon coast has to offer from riding ATV's on sand dunes to kayaking local bays to hiking trails along the PCH. Tons of great seafood to be enjoyed. Wren's Nest was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy it all in private! The beach is wonderful and you own it without all the crowds! Most highly recommended.

Great Beach House!
