We were greeted by friendly staff arriving and departing. Rooms were cozy, clean and updated. Breakfast was simple but convenient. Quaint little town. Wish we could’ve stayed longer as we were just passing through

The roof deck is beautiful with comfortable seating and gorgeous views. Staff are kind, friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. We love staying at the Bolling Wilson hotel.

A cut above your typical 'freeway exit hotel.' Staff was friendly and courteous. Rooms were clean and well-appointed. Building is architecturally interesting. Complimentary breakfast was good-not great- with a fair amount of variety. Would stay here again.

This is the third time we’ve stayed at the hotel, both with and without our dog. The staff is always friendly and efficient. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the bed and sheets are amazing. It’s right downtown, so walkable to restaurants and shops, but we always eat at the delicious, stylish restaurant in the hotel - Graze on Main.

The in-town and historic nature of the property is what we like. The service is great, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The only negative is that the breakfast is ordinary, what you would find at other three star chain hotels, had hoped it would be better considering it has an on site restaurant. (which is good for dinner)

This boutique hotel is charming and well appointed. The room itself had a lot of character and the beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. We canceled a reservation at a different hotel and decided to book here after having dinner at the same hotel restaurant the week before. There were some disappointments, including having to wait about 10 minutes at the check-in desk for the employee to return, presumably, from some kind of break. It was unfortunate that there was no coverage by a teammate. Then when we went to the restaurant , we were provided with a limited Sunday menu, even though it was Saturday . The explanation was that they were shortstaffed, and were not able to prepare all of the items on the menu. I get it, everyone is dealing with staffing issues, but since the restaurant was part of the draw of why we returned, It was disappointing. Then, we had breakfast the next morning, which was one of the other major, draws after it was described as a quite hearty buffet by one of the servers in the restaurant. it was very limited, about what I expect at any mid-level motel. I will allow that it could’ve just been an off weekend due to staffing issues but I hope it gets resolved soon. There is an interesting history to the hotel and on their best day the restaurant is excellent.

Motel 6, at least you get what is advertised!
Everything was good until it was time for Sunday morning coffee and breakfast. The coffee was an hour late and they never cooked any food for anyone and they just threw out some week old danishes. Really disappointed.

The front desk and cleaning staff was very welcoming and accommodating especially since I arrived early. Wytheville is one of the most beautiful towns and has developed plenty of dining options within walking distance not just the excellent food in The Boling. Highly recommend this hotel and this town to anyone and everyone traveling in the area.

We had a fantastic stay. It is a beautiful hotel with great rooms, comfortable beds and nice size bathrooms. Free parking and in walking distance of restaurants and antique stores. Wytheville really takes pride in their town and it shows.

We were just in Wytheville for a single night, but it was so enjoyable. The hotel is gorgeous and full of history. Our rooms were so nice, very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was easy for my 87 year old mom with a shower that was easy to get in and out of. Before dinner, we walked two blocks down and had a couple of beers at Seven Sisters Brewing. Great brewery...big, clean, outdoor seating options. They had a bluegrass duo playing which was nice and really great background music. We ate at Graze on Main, the restaurant in the hotel. All of our meals were fantastic. I had the shrimp and grits. Super tasty! We finished the evening by taking cocktails to the rooftop area. I will definitely try to stay at the Bolling Wilson Hotel again in the future.

We originally started coming here because of your willingness to take dogs. We now come even if our boys aren't with us. It's the perfect spot to stay to cut our trip from Akron to Charleston in half.

Nice place
Its a nice place. We have stayed here many times before. We love the rooftop seating area and bar. The main bar and restaurant are just okay. Each time we have stayed the service is dreadfully slow. Talking at least 15 minutes to get a drink. Food is way overpriced so we tend not to eat at their restaurant. I got a mediocre flatbread bbq chicken and it cost $22. It was 6 small pieces. Anyway, pther than that, it is a very nice place in a quaint town with beautiful surroundings.

Loved The Bolling Wilson Hotel!
Loved staying at The Bolling Wilson Hotel. It's quaint, right downtown so you can walk to anything - restaurants, shops, etc. We ate dinner one night and it was delicious. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. Room was spacious, clean and love having a refrigerator in room. Best of all is the roof top bar. We sat there both nights we stayed and loved the views!
