Loved it great fitness room the breakfast was great also you guys hit it out of the park if I come back to Philly I will definitely stay in that hotel again. People are kind of nice loved it. Thank you for everything.

Great stay
We really liked the room and it was very comfortable. The staff was nice and friendly. The only thing we had a problem with is there was a smell of smoke in our bathroom but it would go away and then come back. So it seems like somebody was smoking somewhere else in the hotel, and it came thru the vents? We recommend this hotel and will definitely return when needing a hotel in the area.

We came with 5 people on the reservation but when arrived they gave us a room that only slept 4. They were able to get a rollaway bed from sister hotel but was inconvenient.

The front desk staff were super friendly and every employee we passed in the halls greeted us warmly. The lobby of the hotel is lovely and it appears they’re making an effort to improve. Our room was a king studio suite which we chose over other hotels for the kitchen feature. The kitchen was extremely clean and refrigerator/freezer, table, chairs etc. perfect for our needs. The bed and linens were also clean. The major problems were the smell of the hotel and room once you left the main lobby - the whole place basically smells musty and although we had a non-smoking room, you could tell people had definitely been smoking in there. It is also a pet friendly hotel which I hadn’t realized before, so I did see cats in windows when we pulled up and as someone with allergies I wish this had been made very clear before booking. I mentioned this at the front desk and the nice woman gave us a room on the 3rd floor noting that it’s less used for people with pets, which was somewhat accommodating and helpful. Though I did see a cat on the third floor so it does happen. The carpets around the hotel and in the room are pretty gross so I recommend slippers for walking around your room. The bathroom itself is pretty nice and modern but there was hair in the shower and behind the toilet. There is as others have mentioned some mold in the showers. Immediate area a little sketchy, loud highway, but tons of food and shopping. Not Marriott quality but will do, ask for 3rd floor.

The morning of the trip, I received an email saying to check-in digitally and when I attempted to, it showed that I had no reservation. When I contacted both hotels.com and the hotel itself, I was relieved to be told I had a reservation. If they’re sending an email saying to check in and I go to do that and the reservation is not found, something needs to be checked because that should not happen if you want to have a seamless experience. When I arrived at the hotel, I was then told that the check-in time was at 4pm, so I checked out the rest of the hotel and while some things like the hallways and the elevators(which made me scared it was going to break down) could use a renovation to be a little less rundown, the rest of the hotel was passable and since I was there for a wedding party, the central dining room area was fantastic for all of us. The room had a lot of amenities and I was not able to use all of them but for the price, I recommend this hotel over the Fairfield next door due to the rooms at the Residence themselves being a much better value in terms of amenities and space than the Fairfield or other hotels in the area.

Despite the challenge, we are glad you would recommend the hotel and enjoyed your visit. We too agree the amenities are great, especially the full size suite with fully stocked kitchen area. We were very disappointed , the sofa bed was horrible you could feel the springs on the your back. It wasn't as clean as I would have liked. There was a used old sheet in the the sofa bed and tiny ants on the night table . Definitely not worth the money we paid.

Make sure to check with the actual hotel, when using hotels.com, about check in and out times and extra surprise fees upon arrival, as they do not coincide with each other.

I have stayed here multiple times before and the property has gone steadily downhill. I am a Marriott Gold Status member so know what to expect from their properties. I reserved 2 x 1 bedroom suites with queen sofa beds. The first room we were given - 108 - smelled very bad and the pull out couch looked like was 30 years old and falling apart. There were terrible stains all over the cushions. When we pulled out the bed, it got much worse. The mattress also looked like it was 30 years old and terribly stained. I wouldn't let my worst enemy sleep on it. We asked to be moved to a different room - the staff was helpful and the mattress in the 2nd room was much better. However, the bathroom was moldy and in terrible shape. There was also no shower gel in the dispenser. I would not recommend this property.

Was not clean. Checking in was difficult. No rooms ready at 3:00??? Hallways dirty. Had false fire alarm (a kid pulled it) and we had to exit hotel. No compensation for inconvenience.

Although normal check in time is not until 4pm, we do offer our rooms on a first come first serve basis and had a large number of arrivals on that particular day. As quickly as we completed the completed, we were checking guests in. I hope you didn't have to wait to long to receive your room. Choose another hotel!
First room was changed because of dirty/stained/worn sofa bed. Rooms came with sticky mouse traps & roach traps. Cooling system was VERY loud. Fire alarm went off multiple times around 1:00am. Bed was comfortable but slept with lights & tv on to keep away critters. Not very much rest.

My apologies for the alarm in the early morning hours. Although we are thankful the safety system alerted all our guests of a potential safety issue, we know how frustrating this can be since you didn't get as much rest as needed, even if the bed was very comfortable.
