Summary:
Enjoy the breathtaking sunrise views of Lake Apopka from this newly refurbished and well appointed 4 bed, 2.5 bath vacation home in Winter Garden, Fl.
While the house offers total tranquility and relaxation, it is only a short drive from Orlando’s numerous theme parks (Universal Studios 20 min, Disney World 30 min) and all other local attractions (Mall of Millenia and premium outlet malls 20 min drive)

The Space:
The vacation home has a well appointed kitchen, several Smart TVs, plenty of comfortable seating in the various living areas and screened in porch. It also offers several outdoor patios as well as an outdoor fire pit and fishing pier.
It overlooks Lake Apopka and a nature reserve with an abundance of wildlife and local birds to enjoy from one of the outdoor areas.
Historic downtown Winter Garden with its diverse local restaurants and shops is only five minutes away. Winter Garden is known for its old Florida style and charm and offers beautiful nature as well as historic sites such as the Central Florida Railroad Museum and the Garden Theatre. There is plenty to do for everyone with weekly events like the Farmers Market at the Downtown Pavillon or live music at the famous Crooked Can Brewing Company inside the Plant St. Market (an indoor food market with plenty of food stalls to choose from).
The ‘West Orange Trail’ is a 22-mile wide greenway popular for jogging and cycling and runs through the heart of Downtown Winter Garden.

We charge a one-time pet fee of $145 for up to 2 furry friends. For any additional pets, there’s a fee of $65 per pet.

The house and property were wonderful. The space was just as described and the view and dock was our favorite perk. We loved seeing and hearing the birds and sounds of the lake. It accommodated our family beautifully and we would definitely recommend it to friends. Our host was friendly and efficient with our reservations. Our only hiccup was at check in with the door code. Lovely place and very comfortable. Definitely a 5 star property!

Great home!

We had seven adults stay for a baby shower in the area. There was plenty of room for us. The property is clean and well appointed. It is a two story with a rather steep staircase so if you are mobility impaired keep that in mind. There is a downstairs bedroom and a half bath, but no shower downstairs. The kitchen is remodeled and gorgeous. I especially loved a couple little things: plenty of **high-quality toilet paper!! and plenty of hand soap in each bathroom. These seem like small things but when you’re traveling, it’s nice to not have to go get those things! William was in touch with us throughout our stay and I definitely felt if we needed anything he would be right there. But we didn’t! Both check in and check out were easy processes. The views were amazing! We sat on the back porch, looking at the lake a lot. It’s walking distance from the shopping streets in Wintergarden and is in a nice quiet neighborhood. If you’re not from Florida, the lake is absolutely **not swimmable. There are alligators right there by the dock for you to view from a safe distance. Lots of birds and other wildlife to view as well. We took many beautiful sunset pictures from the dock. We will definitely return to this property.

Spring break

The house and location of the house was amazing. We woke up to bird sounds, would sit on the deck with our morning coffee and listen to the many sounds of nature while watching the gators. It was a perfect central location to farmers markets, fine dining, grocery stores, and had a wonderful small town feel. The house was clean and was well equipped with anything we could possibly need. We used the bikes provided to bike to various ponds around the neighborhood to go fishing. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation!

The best Vrbo experience

We rented this treasure for two nights atthe last minute. If you are considering this place, do not hesitate in booking. The description and the photo's are very accurate. This home is very clean. The kitchen is well stocked and has a lineup of appliances that cannot be topped. The beds were wonderful and we slept well. We spent a lot of time in the screened back porch which was so very comfortable. There is a surpising abundance of wildlife. There is a small animal trail at the back of the property and a family of raccoons use to go in and out of the reserve at dusk. There are different varieties of birds, some very loud, some singing beautiful melodies. We loved it! There are gators in the water. We counted 5 baby gators with their heads above the water during the day. When it gets dark, you can hear the adult ones growl loudly. Our dog heard it the first time and retreated into the house. We didn't get her for protection anyway.The fishing was ok, you might have better luck in the reserve next to this home, but there are bass and gar.Also of note, Winter Garden is a great place and we explored the Farmers Market and the downtown on Saturday morning. What a wonderful place and our neighborhood was extremely quiet and peaceful. Finally, the communication from the Property Manager William was outstanding. His responses were so quick before, during and after our stay that I started to think he was an AI, but he's not. Overall, 5/5 stars!

Silence amidst the craziness

Orlando can be a busy place, and we were looking for a place that was close to all of the attractions, but a world away...and we found it with this unbelievable property. The house is spotless and has everything anyone could need, but the backyard is a true oasis. We felt that we were in the middle of a nature preserve - birds, alligators, flora and fauna. Our favorite time of day was morning with a cup of coffee on the dock. William is attentive and always available. We will absolutely be back!

Birder’s Paradise

It’s wonderful to wake up in the morning & watch the birds on Lake Apopka from the deck which stretches out in front of this property. The location is also very convenient for exploring the cute town of Winter Garden. There are a few minor issues that need to be addressed, such as broken slats in a blind in a bedroom & Master Bath. Also it would have been nice to have a few more essentials to begin with, such as tea towelsp & trash bags. Otherwise, it’s a very nice property that & I highly recommend it.

Perfect hangout in Winter Garden

This was the perfect place for the six of us to hang out in all the comfy rooms, enjoy the wildlife right out the back door and explore the cute town of Winter Garden. It’s close enough to walk, but we also rented a golf cart to make it easier to bring back the treasures we found in the shops and at the farmer’s market.

Lake House

Beautiful home with the most amazing lake views. Lots of wildlife to enjoy. The neighborhood was safe. My dogs enjoyed walks around the neighborhood and the nearby trail. We will definitely be back.

We will be staying here again

A beautiful property with stunning views of the lake. The pictures do not do it justice, I chose this property to propose to my now fiance and it did not disappoint. We couldnt think of a more fitting location with such a beautiful house and incredible scenery. The house is spacious, very clean, well decorated and up to date with every amenity for a comfortable stay. The host is extremely responsive and helpful and will insure that you have the best stay possible.

Winter Garden getaway

Exactly as promoted, with great communication. Very close to lovely Winter Garden downtown. Having a dock on the lake provided for great sunsets and lots of birdlife. A great idea for families instead of staying in a bland hotel. And close to all the attractions that Orlando offers.

I saw an otter!

This is our second time staying at this property. The back porch is a comfortable place to enjoy the view of the lake. I saw an otter run across the yard one morning. The host is responsive, and the size of the house suits our family. Being close to downtown Winter Garden is also a plus.

Perfect location

Very unique home with a beautiful view! It is very close to downtown Winter Garden & about a 10 minute drive to “The Grove” shopping Mecca! We were on our 27th “girls weekend” 5 women over 50 yrs old, which made it nice that there are downstairs sleeping options. The only FYI is that both showers are upstairs. We’ll stay again!

CAUTION: 395 Timbercreek Drive / Winter Garden

This property is not at the VRBO level and the online photos are not accurate. This property is not suitable for children. For example, the upstairs railing of the loft overlooking the downstairs is not to code for children and the dock railings are also not to code. The overall cleanliness can be improved; we had issues with the bathroom sinks and porch door locks and unfortunately the handyman was unavailable to address these issues during our stay. The neighborhood is wonderful and convenient to the Winter Garden town.

Lakeside retreat

Rented this beautiful lakefront home for a family reunion and couldn’t be happier. Top notch location with super A/C to combat the 95 degree summer heat. We spent every morning out on the dock with our morning coffee observing and photographing the amazing wildlife….ospreys, anhingas, great blue herons, great white egrets and even a kingfisher who visited every morning just after sunrise. Quaint downtown Winter Garden is a short walk or drive away. We are already planning another get together for winter/spring of 2024.

Peaceful!

This house was a wonderful respite from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks. I’ve stayed closer to the parks in years past, but this house is hands down the way to go even if it’s a little more removed from theme park central. The dock is the perfect place for bird watching and watching sunsets. The deck was comfortable and it was so fun to watch all the wildlife. If the opportunity arises, we will definitely come back.
